The last game you bought

Comment the title of the last game you bought. Any platform counts.

I was flipping through used DS games yesterday with my friend, and I found Drawn to Life The Next Chapter. I had to buy it lol, the first one was awesome

The last game I bought was Lego Marvel Avengers for the PS3.

I wanted to play an open world game to just goof around in, and I had read that Avengers was considered one of the best Lego games, so I picked it up. The main selling point for me was the 174 "unique" characters to mess around with, but there's just nothing to really do with them. The combat gets old really quick, and there isn't anything interesting or exciting to do with any of the super powers. When it comes down to it, the world was too bland to keep my interest, and I stopped playing the game after a week, and haven't touched it since.

The saddest part is that I ended up choosing that game to get first over MGSV...

Possible spoilers for the first Drawn to Life game ahead, proceed w/ caution

Was the first one the one that ended basically with the main antagonist turning out to be your one companion the whole time? I played it a very long time ago and it was the first game that kinda messed with me as a kid. Or maybe it wasn't the ending and I just didn't know how to proceed

I also might be biased.

I haven't bought anything since Titanfall 2, though I am tempted to buy Destiny 2 after participating in the beta. Well providing it receives decent reviews.

If membership for oldschool runescape counts then that.
Other than that pokemon moon when it came out

Dead Cells. Usually I'm not into rogue-likes but Dead Cells is pretty friggin fun. It combines metroidvania and rogue-like to make a challenging game. The combat is fun as hell, the gameplay is smooth and even though it's early access, it's extremely polish from my end with constant updates coming from the dev. I need to play it more but I'm trying to clear my backlog up first. I recommend it for those who enjoy roguelikes and/or metroidvanias.

Pokemon Clover, although it wasn't actually bought.

MisterFace 07-31-2017 01:58 AM

A nice little indie game called Salt. Its about exploring islands and gives me a very windwaker-ish feel. Love it, worth the $15 especially with MP planned.

Why waste money on video games when you can buy a custom head?
