Has anyone got it yet? I'm currently about halfway through inkwell isle 1. I need to get one more coin for the smoke grenade, but the tree run and gun level is proving to be a toughish level.

I've been waiting for this game for a loooooong time.

I know right! Now its released it definitely lives up to the hype!

In other news, i got onto isle 2 and the skill level is increased by a literal mile. This game is tough.

I've been repeating the tutorial alot recently but i can only shave a few seconds off of my best score. Tips?

Just bought it. God, the art style is amazing. Really love how they made it like those old cartoons like Popeye, Tom and Jerry, etc..It's difficult as hell but it's not like it's impossible. Really happy to support such devs who puts such passion in indie games like this. Fair price point, no micro transactions or season pass BS, just a pure $20 game that is great to look at and play. I can already see myself raging at some of these bosses but I'm excited.

Welp finished World 1. As I said, this game is a blast. Best $20 I spent in awhile. Think I'm going to attempt to get an A rating on every boss in Isle 1 before I move on to Isle 2. The Toads and Flower dude are the ones giving me the most trouble tbh.

I found the roundabout weapon to be very useful on cagney carnation, maybe try it?

It is but then I try to take in effect the parries I need to pull off. Phase 1 gets me especially when he does that attack where he shoots the seeds and they start coming down. Initial attack isn't hard to dodge but it's the minions/follow up attacks from those seeds that get me. Cagney's 2nd phase is pretty easy though, it's just the first giving me some trouble.

Use the shotgun and they can be taken down easily, personally i found the latter stages harder than the first. I usually just jumped down on the lower level and locked in place to just shoot them easier.

is there a chance of it being ported to switch or nah ?

console exclusive of xbox so i doubt it

I've been playing this with my sister and we've made it to world 3 so far. Co-op mode is actually really difficult. Screen sharing for the run and gun can be really challenging as well as trying to dodge projectiles with a second player on screen in boss battles. I also heard the health is higher and trying to get those high grades is more difficult as well. So yeah, really tough game. That's okay though because I love everything about it.

I bought it on release day and played it on Simple up until halfway through Island 3. After doing some reading that you cant get to the final boss on Simple I'm going back and playing everything on Regular. I'm back on Island 2 now. I kind of stopped playing though due to the difficulty.
