What were the first players you remember from when you started Graal (iClassic)?

So what were some of the first players you remember and why do you remember them?

1. S3xy Chic4na - introduced me to Graal

2. Bartholomew Kuma (know him since week 1 and still talk to him once in a while outside of Graal.

3. Black Starr (best pkr I ever saw. Met her about my 4th week when i was able to go into the zone. Showed me how to be a heal pkr)

4. Fork the Skywalker (met him same as Starr. Showed me how to troll pk)

5. Kill Bill (meet him same as Starr and fork. my first frenemy)

6. Simple-Ez (met him through Bart between my 4th and 7th week. The only dude that constantly made me lol)

koloshow was one of my best mates when i first started and we made this family guild called fuzzy which was sick

Shade and Rusix.
Shade was my first guild leader, And taught me pretty much everything in graal from sparring to PK, And i also picked up his lazy side of not even sparring or PKing or really anything for that matter. Rusix was my best friend for the longest time, I even took on his name when he asked me if I wanted to be named Rusix when he left graal, Didn't plan on keeping it and was gonna change it back to Kiyan but it stuck since more people know me as Rusix than Kiyan.

Honestly the nicest person I've ever met on graal, spent countless hours basing and messing around together.

I can’t remember anyone specific on top of my head... I mean I had couple friends that were wearing gif wing shield, but their names were wiped off of my head years ago.

(now you mention it,) I remember Kill Bill from sparring and he was decent (had 3k-2k). Spar ratio used to correlated to your skills and most had negative spar stats. My era it was rare to see anyone beyond 2:1+ ratios.

In the other hand, I met tons of people when they were a noob. Some grew like a monster.

The one person I remember well is JamesJaames, we had a guild called “Hot” (origin of my in game name as well) and JJ was a pretty well-known guy around the community for things like the Bushtown Prank (https://youtu.be/R08O-cP3Kuo)

Another person I remember was the admin Lollipop*, her graphics were so widely used around Graal, she made so many shields, when snowtown and the area by Nexus was released a lot of her graphics were changing the style that everyone was used to. I also won her hide and seek game once.

There are countless guilds I remember being a part of including Venus Gospel, I managed to get join and was in the guild when they reached 1k tower hours and Azrael put the hat in revolution for a gralat. I still have the hat to this day but I don’t think many people know who Venus Gospel is. I also have the Snow Assassins 1k hat but that one was kind of bland looking I never did like it.

Oh and no matter how much a player complains about lag now it will NEVER compare to the early days of Revolution and Nexus.

Met a dude named Vod the first week graal came out he scammed me for my honor point then I didn’t play for a few months. Came back and found him again wearing the big eyeball head and I’d ask him to honor me back kinda became an inside joke between us. every time after that I’d always find him with that same head. About 4 years later I found him again i remember thinking it was cool to see people who were here from the beginning were still around years later regardless of what their interest were be it pk, spar, or just chatting. I still see him afk outside of battle arena from time to time. Coolest dude I never got to know.

What was your Graal username? Top 3 people I personally remember from EM is Burdy (from HK - GOAT probably knows him as well), Courtney & Tropical. Not counting Call and Alex though.

Guild was a **** show lmao, think Liz tried reviving it relatively recently even though she didn’t even lead it to begin with and at the end screwed over a lot of people. Some older members of the GFX team might remember Tropical as well. I remember Courtney because she showed up to one of my soccer tournaments trying to meet me and I avoided her lmao, first girl (of many) to fall in love with me :rolleyes:. Burdy was younger but never felt that way talking to him, and I ended up educating him on the birds and the bees.

Kingstar and Bomber were some of the first players that I met, over 6 years later and we’re still all close friends. We’ll add Carly to this pile for good measure because the countless hours we spent investigating her and her brothers cat fishing schemes and then trolling her for years really helped form the everlasting bond we have.

Also, when KFC was admin and admins use to make public appearances where everyone would crowd them, I said I got severely bullied at school to see if I could get his attention (I was fairly young around this time) and he dragged me to the picnic table behind old castle and actually took the time to talk to me about it, it was pretty cool and extremely kind of him to do even though I was lying. Took tons of SC’s but that iPod is far destroyed by now.

A majority of the people I originally met and my original friend circle has drifted apart for a while, but even going months without talking I could reach out to any of them on social media since we all have each other added and the love is still there which is nice, never had a negative falling out with someone and completely lost contact.

I was wandering around Master Li's forest when he stopped me and told me to follow him. He'd just won hide and seek for a hat he already had. So he asked the admin to let me take his place, and they allowed it. Was the first event hat I'd won.
Not sure what happened to Jordan after that. Never saw him again.

I dont remember his name but I remember a player who had about 1000 hours at the time showing me around graal giving me a bit of a tour and showing me where all the free gralat chests were...he had one of those grey beanie hats on that were really common back then, but anyway, thanks to whoever you were.

First real friend I made was called Alex and we used to roleplay quite alot such as when we went 'Camping' in air asia island.

Then there was one of the first guilds I remember joining, it was a military sort of guild called FoV. Shame to see that its inactive now.

Drunken Chicken - always used to hang out at Swamptown tower, although I don't really remember him pking unless if his friends were pking
Mr. Spam, Jadt, Teejee, Sam, Gabby - the Jikerador crew. I became friends with Spam & Sam yarp yarp separately and didn't know they were related for a while of knowing them
Trev - (Death Blade) proved that noobcruiting can work lol
Adrian Enigma - he was nice to me when I was a noob so I never joined CoM, but I helped them out a lot too
Maeby - I considered her my rival for a while cause back in her iBall days (and before dating Adrian) she used to pk a lot right outside of Graal City, so we used to fight each other
Yonchan - girl got under my skin. she wore the white hair female noob head, the snowman body, and short blue wing shield.
iDisneyWorld - my brother became friends with him back before he had an iPod to make his own account
Wafflez - was my favorite admin back in my noob days. i guess there are a lot of staff members from those years of iClassic that i remember though.
bachelor party - some guy who never played often, but i became friends with him early on in 2010

That dude used to go by jonepi and he would get slaughtered in the zone. That’s where he learned how to be a troll pkr. Now that I think about it I probably met him my first month playing.

Didn't expect to see his name in there. Did he have Japanese flag back then? I used to spar against a Japanese flag user that had 20k-10kish, then he disappeared one day, never seen again after.
After an year, Droon appears with similar stat and began sparring like crazy, now he has what? 45k win or something? So I just want to know if it's the same person that I used to spar against.

alex/nugget (rampage): showed me how to tower and we finally finished our 1k 3 yrs later after we got lazy and stopped at 200 hours

primetime (apostles): let me join a bigger sparring guild and became friends with a lot of the other members

xcaramel: was an Australian admin, we became friends after I won trivia and she realised I was also Australian (there were few Australians that weren't social players at this point) we ended up marrying like 3 months ago on iclassic after she came online 3 yrs later which was cool!

I definetely remember trigger getting married and then disappearing. I was a noob in Cruxis at that time. The whole situation was strange including how quickly he disappeared.

What a legend he was

Gee Bill is actually a really good friend of mine and has been for over 5 years. He’s no longer active on Graal but I still won’t reveal his identity because it’ll ruin the mystery, some of the other Gee accounts are owned by Kingstar & me.

It was really fun because almost no one knew who he was besides us and a few others, and the three of us always had an ongoing group chat for the past 5 years specifically for messing around like this and just finding ways to have fun on Graal.

Za Ichi I don't even remember how I met him on graal but I'm still good mates with him.
I also remember this random Link what I messaged because they had the Link body and head uploads and I bonded with them over the Legend of Zelda games and Pokemon, I don't remember their name or what happened to them
