But just looking at the picture makes me believe that this new game will have a story mode or some sort, because I just can’t imagine pking or sparring in 3D.

iClassic being in 3D isn’t going to make it better unless they fix/avoid all the issues it has and actually add gameplay that would make the game interesting
Also considering it’s in 3D there’s a high chance there won’t be custom uploads

You are indeed wrong, custom uploads are still planned and they are actually easier then previously.

I imagine that custom uploads woule just be flat textures that get wrapped around the player model? And they'd be ass ugly?

It's actually 2.5D. (basing on Dusty's YT vids about it) I hope the game stays alive for a long time. Lol It's going to have to compete against its own game.

dusty's video is a completely different game that used a 2d art form (i.e. regular pixel art) in a 3d environment

this is different as it actually uses 3d models in a 3d environment

Graal3D is so much fun

Presumably this project is to stay separate from all existing servers, and is to be on its own client. Otherwise I'm sure this is going to have huge backlash from the community

This current Graal 3d and the old graal3d client are horribly different. They can't even be compared. The old 3D Client was using Torque3D, while the new client is Unity3D.

How tf? R u really in the game or something else is happening here? O_o
