Ifile crime wave
 

Looks like major contributors of GFX are being targeted for ifile thieves again, is there no answer to this?

Hopefully you are aware and have some sneaky counter action planned :D

It hurts to lose your little custom bald guy head :/

ifile is part of the game :/

The bottleneck that they can control is submitting the graphics in the first place.
Charge real money (or require a special subscription) to upload.
That way the people who upload are all registered and you can easily go through and check if they're the same. Not only that, you can make regular customers off of people who were once free to play.

But hey. Logic.

cant you just report them for using your head w/o permission?

Things like this has been talked about probably a million times, But it wont change the fact devs simply don't seem to care whatsoever and there doesn't seem to be any action at all taken to stop Ifiling. Graphics in graal was supposed to be a way players can be encouraged to be creative and improve their graphic art is a fun way, People shouldn't be punished for it and have their creations stolen. There has probably been easily dozens if not hundreds of methods proposed to solve this problem. But it probably never will be fixed.

Reason why I left graal tbh- I've spent a lot of money on the game to upload my graphics only to be stolen the same day. Only played for the custom-feature since it was unique.

What is iFiling?

It allows you to extract game resources (players home made content like heads and body’s,shields)

Then upload it or make it available for mass consumption via web page

So that you see your bald head.... everywhere?! Like a batch of escaped clones

While this wasn't asked to me, They likely remain on the forum to see and check how the game is doing and so on, Atleast that's what I do, I only log on graal once a week, Sometimes not even that I sometimes I dont come on for months, But I'll come to the forum's every other day or once a week to see how things are going. I assume Asaiki does something similar to this, But I cannot speak on their behalf.

That is what I thought. Just a weird concept considering everything on PC Graal was essentially open source. There wasn't really such thing as private graphics.

It’s always allowed a choice of public or private uploads, seemed like a great system till someone had to spoil it

Besides the best part is making your own avatar, everyone tries it out eventually

Back in the old days it was a community effort and there wasn't money charged to upload or submit graphics.
