Halloween submissions work similar to Christmas submissions, but instead of 4 categories, we have the 1 theme being... You guessed it...

All the player submitted items will be sold in the Candy Shop at Deadwood

Those of you whose submissions get accepted and put in-game will receive a reward of 10,000 gralats for more complex items (ex. hats, mounts, furniture. etc.) or 5,000 gralats for simpler items (ex. toys, food, etc.) AND your submission(s)!

We want you guys to submit your most creative spooky atworks!
Of course we have a few rules for the submissions!

1. All Content must be made only by you, from scratch, meaning no edits of existing content.
2. Any graphics made between two or more people as a collaboration can only gain the rewards on a singular account.
3. NO copyright infringement
4. Keep things appropriate (i.e. nothing obscene, inappropriate, or controversial in nature)
5. DO NOT use pure black (#000000) or pure white (#ffffff). If you use these colors, they will become transparent in-game.
6. You may submit multiple items
7. If you make recolors, you will receive all the colors you submit but will only receive the gralats for the one hat. You cannot accumulate more gralats from multiple colors of one item.
8. All submissions must utilize one of the provided templates. Custom sized morphs, mounts, furniture, etc. will not be allowed
9. All submission must be either a .png or .gif file format. Any other file formats (ex. .jpeg, .jpg, etc.) will not be accepted.
10. Accessories will not be allowed for this event
11. This thread will be used for questions and comments only. Posts not pertaining directly to this event will be removed. If you wish to post your progress and receive or give constructive criticism, please use the progress thread.

If you're interested in submitting content for this event, then upload your creations to an image hosting website (such as imgur.com) and email the links to [email protected]. Title the email "Halloween Submission" and include your Graal ID (which can be found in the feedback menu in-game).
If you do not include your Graal ID you cannot receive your reward should your submission be accepted!

Can people not on the forums (but still play Graal) submit items?
Answer
Absolutely! This isn't strictly a forums event, though it would be best if said person checks out this thread to get all the information they might need. They don't need a Graalians account to be able to view this thread. The link to this thread is tinyurl.com/halloweensubmissions and this link is also in my status in-game.

Answer
We would prefer you use an image hosting site, but if you absolutely don't want to do that and the files you send are either .png or .gif file formats, it would be fine.

That would totally fine, and a good idea for the sake of consistency!

Answer
I don't see any problem with that as long as it's not too over-the-top! It is Halloween, after all! Just keep in mind that a lot of kids do play this game, so as long as you follow the rules listed above you should be fine.

Answer
Anything that would be better made as an accessory wouldn't be accepted (ex. no glasses, scarves, backpacks, wings, etc.)

Yeah they work, but a problem I found is the images are really low quality so you can’t edit them

Right click on the image, and press "open image in new tab" and it'll give you the full resolution image :)

So yes - you get the items AND some gralats added to your account if they are accepted.

The very left of the template is the standing still frame

the umbrella theme is Halloween as long as the hat/item are close enough to the theme its okay. If the items/hat don't match the theme, they wont be able to be accepted

I got this reply in Zone that when I use the app "pixel studio" it makes the file mentally stupid... whatever that means. I did use it as an external source so does it affect the hats I made in anyway possible?

If you sent an email you should have gotten one back that says: "Your submission has been received and will be reviewed! We'll contact you again if your submission gets accepted."

There are 3 possible things that could’ve went wrong for you, you either titled it incorrectly (it has to be the exact title),sent it to the wrong email, or submitted it too late.

You get silence for items not being accepted, but you do get an email for submitting. Something like “your submission has been received and will be reviewed”

Also, has anyone gotten a acceptance email? Kinda scared that they won’t accept anything of my stuff 0_0

I’m not sure all I know is you will receive a confirmation email and if it gets accepted I’m not sure about if it’s not accepted. Just wait for the shop to open and then you’ll know if you don’t receive your reward it wasn’t accepted and if you receive the reward it was accepted

Did not read the whole thing, you might have not had the correct title, it’s really sensitive the emails are reviewed by the excel act title I think so if you messed up even a bit it won’t be reviewed

I didn’t notice that, that is the problem. I’m pretty sure they have it be exact just so they can look at all the emails by just searching it instead of looking through

Check your spam folders if you believe you sent your submissions correctly and didn’t get a confirmation. I sent imgur links my first time submitting and my messages got blocked because it said link was suspicious or something. Sorry for this message being late if this is the the issue you dealt with.
