Offmap Areas
 

For all of the so called "Explorer Glitchers" out there who claim that they know everything about Classic's Offmap Areas, you don't.

First of all, Classic copied the gmap (overworld) from the PC Server called Classic (Before Thor redid it and killed it) There were tons of towns, including Babord, Destiny, and my personal favorite, Avalon. These were all towns from the PC server Classic.

Second, the Classic iPhone LAT Team wouldn't make over 3 gigantic towns just to take up space on the overworld. Thats just a waste of space, and as Twinny said, they can't randomly make a place on the overworld and let players on it. That would be boring.

Third, a ton of the empty buildings are player houses, from about 2003. As I said, they took the gmap from PC. This is also why the name "TimUrlacher" comes up on various signs on places offmap, Tim being a LAT for classic back in the day, and the sign inside the building in Avalon that is supposedly an appartment building asking players to email [email protected] for an apartment. Don't try it, the email adress is invalid.

Finally, The offmap areas are blocked off for a reason: keeping players out. I know its hard for a curious player to wonder whats down there, but don't go glitch into Destiny just to check out the boot shop. Its old, pointless, and smelly. Glitching into offmap areas spoils new towns and ideas, like the bowling alley in Babord. There are some other well-guarded secrets offmap that staff do their best trying to keep concealed until the release. Glitching is pointless and stupid. If you really want to go see whats in Destiny, go play Classic PC.

Your wrong in saying that... there is only one hosted version of the old classic which is technically "Illegal" and I don't even know if I'm allowed to say what group is hosting it. But official graal isn't hosting it. This thread is pretty silly, I doubt people are going to stop glitching off map just because you say so... Hackers 'hack' (more like bug abuse from poor coding...) so they can say "Hey, look at me! I'm the best hacker on graal" and it's become a title+competition so no one is going to stop because of the reason I just listed.

I doubt you are an admin on iClassic but if you're posting this thread too proove your maturity so you can hopefully be considered for GP or such a role your not going in a very sensible direction, the only way you can get a position on an iServer is if your friends with a staff member of the current team or you have prooven yourself worthy through previous hirings by other well known servers.

And just so you know you might perceive that this post has a harsh tone to it but in truth I'm just highlighting the truth and not intentionally having a go at you.

Did i ever say i was an admin on classic? Nope. Im just tired of youtube getting flooded with glitch videos and such. No need to spaz.

And i'm not trying to be a GP either.

Also, the "illegal" version of classic is pretty legit, they have given Graal 100% credit and im pretty sure the old classic manager is in on it. Thor bought the server out basically:(

The old classic hosted on the 'other graal', it was made by the old staff (tim & co, whether thor was in that team I have no clue...) but thor no longer has anything to do with it, it was brought back to a playable state by kalzor and spooon and some others.

But you really shouldn't be bring the old server to everyones attention because techically 'its no longer hosted'.

I'm truly amazed that this is still an issue. If the staff didn't want players to glitch out of the game's boundaries, maybe they should have done something about it. They could replace all those levels with blank ones filled with blocking black tiles. Nobody will want to explore if there is nothing there, and everything blocks you.

Not an issue, they have another server specifically for development. Also, they could just create an alternate gmap that does include those levels.

from my experience on Era iPhone, Era iPhone Dev is more of a playground. lol idk if the same goes for Classic Dev

The fact is the most are glitching hacking out from the map than they'r bored in the game when it would be a few events, quests, anything to do would only 1-50glitching, hacking what not the many is by 1200 players and out from the map are realy many warps last year they have added too many warps so you cant stay in the litle area from the light house without getting warped on the other places are only warps

Don't see any point here. If you dOnt wanna see it on UTube don't look for it. Also they have a dev server where they are way further than here. It would be no problem removing everything on the offmap at the "original" server.

I don't search it on YouTube, i search Graal and this pops up.

Beause the kids making as tags: Graal, Online, iPhone, Classic...
When i'm searching for classic video than i find a few glitch videos...

the map i made, its kind of out of date, some things have been removed and changed, and i dont know if the giant square of red leaves is still in the ocean XD

again i dont remember the angel shaped island, maybe i just never noticed the island was shaped like that.

Ahhh i that reminds me of good ol days with second server glitch for the bank room

All of my guild was on SNC 2nd server and we always messed around. So there isnt "2nd server" but there is "SS-*enter building name here*" :D

@ higby where did you get the map?

Youtube, google, thor?

I always used the house portal building. It worked better for me.

SNC and house portal were the two good ones. I heard people used the Black Orchid too?

Second server only gets you onto the offmap areas, not inside the builings offmap.

It´s not really a second server.
It´s just like the lagg part of the server (that´s how I explained it myself).

The client thinks you are in one level; the server thinks you are in another.

I don't really think anyone thought it was a second server, it just seemed that way. Especially how you could see players that did the glitch in the same area as you. I remember doing a test, staff could summon you from the glitch and you would appear where they summoned you, but attempting to teleport to you would cause them to end up in the area you glitched in except they couldn't see you. So in theory you could use this glitch and never be caught,

People think it´s a second server. Also when they warp to you and see that you arent there and try it like 2-3 times they know that something can´t be right.

Yeah i have been around destiny in iphone when i was a noob and new nothing about the game XD lots of the levels look or are incomplete there from what i rember so ill just wait until they do get completed hopefully and the full map on the 1st page would look good on the iphone server ;D

You ever heard that they have a dev Server for iClassic? There they update everything and not anymore on iClassic. Just the stuff which you can see in news

So if you didnt know anything anything about the game how did you manage to get to destiny?

They are red trees.

Just to add that the off map areas have been cleared by the development team.

Red trees are still there, I dragged screen and saw em^^
