About admins (my personal concern).

I'm seeing some of the new admins not taking their job seriously or taking their job too seriously. From what i saw today, an admin named Julius has cancelled an upload of a head because he claims its inappropriate, when its not.

However, the guy said something like " so the admin warned him due to "Harrassment".

Another thing i find kind of BS in general is the traditional "Friends-Only" statement

Basically, its where admins ignore major things and questions or problems by going to their friends first and hanging out with them... Even giving them Admin Powers temporarily... A perfect example is none other than Magic. Im not directly attacking them. Im just saying that they give admin powers to their guild members temporarily and have been hanging out or hosting events (Kudos to them).

Im sure some other admin guilds are going to do this but the biggest question is this: Is being friends with admins are going to be any danger in Graal due to this system?

Now let me explain before you flame me:

If i go up to a male member of an admin (Lets say, Ghandi from Magic guild) and go "Ghandi, You're stupid!" as an assault and non-sarcastic comment. Now what if Ghandi goes to NYN, reports me because of that one immature sentence and NYN bans me for a very long time, because he'd do anything for his friends more than the players (Especially in Graal)?

What if i had a long time rivalry with, say Andy for example, and when NYN gives Andy the Admin power for fun, Andy uses it to ban me permanently because he hates me?

What if someone gets admin power for fun and whoever asks her for something will get banned for 100 hours with a reason of "Harassment" because she only wants to use it for fun?

Im only using these examples to show what i mean. Im ok with admins and their friends but i don't want their friends having a huge advantage just because they're friends with an admin. Its unfair if they can ban anybody they want, get any hat/body/head they like for free, or get admin powers and do anything they like because they have been friends with an admin. Magic is the only guild i see whos been giving admin powers to their friends temporarily but they don't abuse it so thats good. However, im afraid if they're going to manipulate that kind of power and start claiming themselves as "Official Admins"

If this does happen, then its going to be an official direct attack against players in general and this will cause a huge rampage

What do you think Graalians? Give me your honest thoughts, comments, and or critique regarding this

I don't think it's possible to give staff powers to a regular player on their iDevice.

I don't know but every time i log in, i see a different guild member from Magic as an admin (Not NYN or Lady Gaga) hosting an event or doing something around town. Again, im not directly attacking them on this but thats just my honest opinion on this point.

You can have powers on idevices. but you need special permission...

Your idea of "staff powers" is 100 AP and some weapons. Could be added to an iPhone, but RC can't be accessed via iPhone.

You see a lot of magic members as staff because a lot of them are staff... Hate to point fingers but A certain uploaded is pretty bad at his job because he seems to disapprove almost every upload he gets

YES! Because I just didin't have ENOUGH of these damn threads! We discussed this time and time again. Everything happens for a reason, if there isn't a reason then me myself and I would be swamped with bans for raiding and taking a Magic tower. Now don't be a downer. Accept the fact. Get me to stop talking in fragment sentences to prove my point.

There's never been a Magic member who was given "powers" temporarily. All the people you see hosting events are hired. Like stated above, they would need to be on the PC client to do this.

I remember when Julius said to stop role playing as a broadcast message and then later that night they added the ability to propose.

I just agree with Julius sucking at his uploading job.

Maybe he's new to uploading? I don't think everyone's perfect. You should give him a chance instead of criticizing every little thing he does wrong 0:. And if you still don't like a certain staff, then just ignore them or feedback what the staff is doing wrong ;/. That's what I do :D!

Exactly. Julius is new to uploading, give him a break. He is one of the most hard-working, dedicated GPs on iclassic btw

I completely back this up, the general theme/thesis is"admins friends get away with more crap and get more" and that some are lazy and justnot working hard, my friends head(already approved) was removed without reason and julius just say"heres your money" it wasnt bad it was just a gif flash head.

To be honest, I think most of the hate comments players direct toward staff should just be ignored rather than being sent to warning. However, there are certain times when that's not the case. Sometimes people will be standing out in the open and say "You admins suck **** you little *** holes." Now they're just cussing with insults so that would be punishable. Pms of insulting things I tend to ignore unless the person says something that just has to be warned or banned for.

Julius denied the head, people were confused, people were pissed. The issue was taken to someone that could deal with it, and the problem was solved. I therefore don't understand why it is being used as an excuse to start a fight with the staff, because the situation has already been dealt with IN THE RIGHT WAY.

There are things that this forum is an effective tool for. For example, a huge amount of updates and changes have been made through people making suggestions, proposing ideas, etc on here. Venting about the staff on this forum achieves nothing however, because it is not the correct channel to do it in and this has been explained so many times. E-mail your concerns to [email protected] if you want something done. Yes, it does actually work.

If you're actually not seeking some kind of solution or closure, then don't even bother bringing it up anywhere.
