Hi. Any iEra admins, i want you to read this. You know the news place on iEra? It gave me this idea. So you sign up with your email, and every sunday morning, the admins release a newspaper for iEra. It would cost maybe 5-20 gralats a day, just like you pay for a real newspaper. If you like this idea, i would love to help make it. Thanks.

On the computer version of Era they actually did this but not subscriptions.

We already have a News secction on the menu, this is unnecessary. Mainly because no one would pay for some information you could easily get for free.

Perhaps we can build on that idea. Since the news tab in the main menu already covers the major news and updates, it could possibly bring about the formation of an Era iPhone news team. Here's my idea.

• Staff members could hire players for the position of the Era news team. Obviously, the player will have to have substantial grammar and most likely speak English to be able to write articles that are readable for everybody.
• After doing so, players will be able to write up articles on their computer and maybe even their iDevice, throw it into an email and send it to an Era iPhone staff member.
• Once the article has been approved for public reading, the article will then be available for reading in a new item that can be bought through the news building. A newspaper could cost 100 Gralats every time a newspaper is released.

Obviously, it looks like it's going to take a fair bit of organisation to pick players to lead and work for the team, a staff member who's willing to read and approve the articles, along with a fair amount of other work.

What's wrong with the current news? I believe it's detailed enough. I don't see a point having all that done, unless you want an NPC for yourself.

yeah.. it sounds cool and all. but it is too much work to put in for something that is not really gonna be used. + there is not really so much news and new stuff, that there would have to be a daily newspaper.

Well did you ever know why Doc was fired? Or what the Turks are? It would be news no one would know originally. But yea now im thinking it wasnt that good of an idea.

There is a news section, and I hope it has a use at all one day.
