Shotgun update
 

It seems that bboy has updated the shotgun. It works like a real shotgun now.

Stats aren't changed but the biggest change is that, each bullet adds up damage.

Yep! That's right. Get into point blank range and deal massive damage in one blast. It can do a 3 shot kill! Get into spar (or pk) and try out shotgun.

I'd like to give bboy many thanks for this nice gun update. It's a simple but big change.

The Pbp shotgun really needed that.

I'd prefer it's fixed... For 2500 gralats you can dominate all of graal, "screw the bar I'm getting shottys!"

I love this update. Pbp is a death machine now.

It's OP, I don't like it. For 2.5k you can dominate in smaller spar arenas (Underground spar, etc) so yeah, same point as Froggy

But now that hea told eveyone, everyines using it in bases

imo, it's a good plan, except the damage per bullet on shotguns need to be nerfed - pbp should add up to max 16 or so, other types of shotguns proportionally less

wth everyone is using the 2.5k shotgun in bases. Everywhere!! and my shipka lose to spread of the shotgun sigh...

Shotguns are easily beaten, idk what you're all complaining about. Shotguns SHOULD do massive damage close-range. That's kind of what they do...Just stay far away and take 1 or 2 bullets max and spam like crazy.

Problem is, they are severely OP when someone rushes in and spams em.

Then avoid the rush? Harder in smaller spar arenas, true..but not impossible.

I think the update should only apply to PBP to make it more worth its price. the other shotguns should remain how they were.

Hit the shotgun user when he reloads or after he uses up 4 blasts. (for the normal shotgun)

Do the similar technique with other shotguns.

Exactly the pbp isnt worth its price.

What you talkin about? PBP is good at its price it's the only gun on era that shoots four bullets even though the shotgun is good I still think the PBP is better.

If I am not wrong, I do not think this update would be here to stay (as much as I hope it does).

2500 gralats for a 20 damage gun as compared to 200 000 gralats for a 10 damage gun just does not telly. Everyone would end up using shotguns instead of buying new guns.

As everything in Era is all about balancing ( no pun intended :P ) either the damage would be reduced or more freeze would be added to counter its high damage.
However meanwhile the shotguns are definitely one of the best guns currently so please spam them to your advantage. :D

We'll probably reduce the damage per bullet on the standard shotty, but the meat of the update was that every bullet does damage, rather than just one. The idea was to make shotguns as effective at close range as they should be.

I'm confused

That part of the update I love. It always made me mad when I would make a close-range shot on my opponenet with a Shipka, but they'd only take 8 damage :/

I agree the shotgun is too good for it's price. But I'm looking forward to further balancing in era.
