Archery Range
 

In the spirit of April Fools Day, we've decided to honor Robin Hood's memory and take all of your money to give to the poor of Graal iClassic. Which is, of course, the dev team.

Okay, not really. Instead, we are honoring Robin Hood's memory with a brand new Archery Range in Onett! The guy was pretty much the greatest troll of his time, after all, and he did it all with superior marksmanship. Take up his mantle by grabbing your own Archery Pass and practicing your aim. Sounds easy enough, right? The question is: can you get a high enough score to win the prize?

Might want to add more slots for people to play on there's a huge wait, I might just wait to join for a few days. Also, maybe have a top 50 rather than 1 hiscore

also, are we able to see others play, I cant see anyone playing it looks broken.

Yeah, my idea was to add a top ten highscore to the sign. I don't think they want to do that though.

Not sure tho. Haven't gone up yet. Wait is forever. Only person you can ask for sure is whoever has the highscore, or if you win it yourself.

There could be different rooms in the building, so we can have more lanes.

Use the magnifying glass from the GST and put it in the Archery Arena so we can view the Archery happening without having to drag our screens.

most importantly for now they need to add more lanes and move them up so people cant annoy you by spamming emotes text and really tallhats/big shields.

The new room was just removed. I predict it was cause there was a que bug and fp4 needs to fix.

There's a special prize for 4000 points as well, No one's got it yet. :D

The problem with this is that the scores aren't something that you build on, or a rating of your ability; you simply achieve a score. Someone who has the ability to achieve high scores when playing would be able to simply hog the list with different accounts. I can't see it working out very well.

im sure over time the list will even out over different players even if there are alts. I really wish there was a top 50 like kills/spar.

the Facebook top player has over 7k so its hopeless to beat now

add a que number like in spar rooms that shows how many ppl are in the que.

I suppose, but I don't see what hogging the list would accomplish. Especially as more people practice and get better. A top 10 list just seems to fit a multiplayer game a lot more than only one person getting the spotlight.

Regardless, it's a really good update!

The archery game is a game designed with a predefined top possibility of a score. This would be if the game is launched with no X targets, the player gets all bullseyes, and probability rolls a high number of front targets(they go up and down faster, thus gives the player more targets over the time limit). Once somebody reaches this, it will be a fruitless endeavor for other players to try to top this. A top 10 list would be the same, that player will always be at the top, and as time goes on, eventually it will just be a bunch of players who reached this maximum score, and no one else will be able to hit the charts. It will be a useless list of scores no one can ever beat.

Maybe they could reset the list every month? Then people could always try to make it on the highscore board. The list could be called "Top 10 Archers This Month" or something. I think this would bring a competitive atmosphere to the game, and prevent it from dying out.

No one will ever achieve a perfect score.

Eh, I think you underestimate players drive to grind stuff like this.

I still really want the hype to die down so people can just start playing for fun. It seems so competitive at the moment.
