Tonight on Graal Stefan rebooted the server and when it came back on you could use thumbnails as shields. All of Graal went berserk with these. Admins turned all those thumbnails into this gold shield with scissors on it. But more and more thumbnails appeared. Soon after graal went black and all the graphics screwed up. After a while it was fixed but you could still use some thumbnails as shield.

Banned for half an hour, went with a suicide run through graal city with the tileset as a shield.

The sad part is that while this was going on... Furryamigo was just hugging random users on the side... However, someone told me that furryamigo was fixing it but instead azrael and Stefan were the ones that were fixing it...

I managed to take a few photos of it but overall... Srsly... WTF?!

These shields used to work by only being seen by you on your device on your character. It somehow became visible to everyone.

This happened a while ago on era. Apparently the tree thumbnail got out and it was spammed all through that server.

I'll post the pictures I collected when I have time..
Also, it's sad how players would do such a thing.. It really looks like that players don't give two damns about the server and rather see it burn to the ground...

It is just a game, and was a bit of fun. iPhone players will be iPhone players and they exploit everything they can, whenever they can. It was just a little bit of fun and I wouldn't expect any different from any of the players.

I took screenshots but basicly for reports (even if they won´t help much but better than nothing). I will see if I can post them when I got time aswell.

I also shot one picture while I was on range archery some guy walked in and ruin out game we couldn't see the targets

Stefan probably messed up the file config settings so you could set anything as a shield.

lol someone set the map of the server as a shield, allowing everyone to see stuff offmap, it was hilarious, because alot of that offmap stuff will never be released and will just be pasted over.

The stuff off-map is left over from the old PC Classic.

Well, he was on iEra last night adding in some extra security against a few Cheat Engine exploits, but I'm pretty sure he only added one flag to the serverops.

wait why would he add them if iEra isn't even on the facebook client where Cheat Engine is used. Does this perhaps mean iEra is coming to facebook.

No. I was alerting him of the exploits within the Facebook client and he said he could do nothing on the Facebook server, as it is already laggy enough, but he could possibly add in some extra security for the "showadmins" with an extra serverops flag or two.

lol The island at the top is Nimda. The one on the bottom looks like Floydia. So that map is bigmap.png, the map GraalEditor uses by default.

Stefan dropped by on Era iPhone Dev yesterday and updated the NPC server to do just this. I don't know if other servers have access to it though.

bigmap.png is erased. angel.png continues to work on fb but not suer of iOS
