WTF happened to the price protests?
 

Back in the day people would constantly start mass price protests and riots. Why have these stopped? Prices are more expensive than ever. back when there were constant riots the most expensive item was like 28k. Now there is a 100k item and 2 50k items and no one cares. Not to mention important items were never more than 3k(lantern, cheapest horse). cheapest 2 person mount is 50k

We need to start protesting. The only way to get these items is to waste 40+ hours of your life farming, waste a ****load of money, or earn gralats illegitimately

But really, what's the point in making a riot over it? The things you can buy keep people playing in the hope that one day they might be able to afford one of them. It's what kept me playing some servers.

With the increasing amount of players obtaining gralats through illegitimate means its not exactly the greatest way. Especially because someone made a gralat dropping hack.

I agree with Skill. But the problem is that to "protest" is not the way to solve problems.
I don't really know what is the "point" of making price so "high". Maybe the Graal "Heads" want people to buy Gralat packs. I can't define the reason.

But i think that the cost of products in graal have gone too far.

I didn't realize the 2Player Mount is an important item to have. It doesn't give you anything special other than the ability to have someone ride on a horse with you...


You always seem to find something to complain about. Never "Wow, that's neat." "Nice job". "Cool". Or even a "Huh."

More so you just like to rant and rave about nothing in particular, but anything that suits your need to do so.

In all fairness this are fourms and some people will always be critical. Dont pull a "stop-hating" as one of the biggest parts of this site is to improve gameplay, so critical and praising people are both needed. He has a legit argument so let him discuss it. I do believe the prices wont be changed though, and that might as well deal with it. As long as bare necessities aren't put too high in price I will be O.K.

It's kind of pointless now. It's best to make a joke of it or just complain to your friends about it to let off some steam. Begging to have the price changed I think we know what answer we'll get. I agree that the prices are higher than ever, but them changing the already set prices is a 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 001% chance unless it's sold at Nexus later on.

I really like the update it give us content we all have been sassing for. Also there are a few bugs when riding horse and these need to be fixed other than that I love the update sorry guys

Why are you complaining about how there is no riots about prices anymore? I mean seriously, it's just a waste of your time to protest over it. If you don't like the prices fine, then don't buy the item.

Protests are fun. Most protests i have participated in were supplied with admin bombs when i was a noob though.. lol

If farming didn't suck so bad this wouldn't be too much of a problem. Too bad they got greedy and destroyed farming ending good places like the fan and grotto. And 2 person mounts should be same speed not slower that is so dumb.

Give two fat kids a piggy back ride IRL and see how that turns out :$... Jk haven't seen the speed of the new mounts nor the new town :/

You want to know who's responsible for prices and the greed? Stefan and Unixmad. Heres what unixmads graal character would look like.

It goes without saying that the point of Graal is monetization. But to do it like this... just seems dirty. This is the current business model, of which I'm sure everyone is already aware:

• Make getting gralats very difficult. Farming would get you a few hundred per day and would take hours. Boring hours.
• Ridiculously overcharge for items. 50,000 for a piano. 100,000 for mount.
• Conveniently offer Gralat packs, which you buy with your own money.

Is this the best way? $36 USD for a virtual item?

Please note that I am not criticizing them for trying to make money. I've bought the $9.99 Gralat pack a few times now. But there is no way I would buy it 4 times in a row to purchase a product. Now I would maybe consider buying it if it were 10,000 gralat (about $3.63 USD). Wouldn't more people buy it at that lower price?

In other words, wouldn't lowering the price of these items actually make them more money while not offending or turning away loyal players (customers)?

Your suggesting as if stefan and Unixmad care or knew how to run the game.

Because your riots caused two upset balances...

1. It caused unixmad to increase the prices on items. That explains mister "100k armored panda" and "50k turtle mount" laying there on iClassic.

2. When they actually listened to your rioting, Nexus took all the rare hats and sold them for prices of up to 100-9000 gralats. The xor masks were 1000 each, the octo hats were 100 each, the hoods were 8000 each, and the xor/human tuxedo bodies were 2500 each. And guess what?

If you believe that the graalians forum should be discussed upon this situation: Everyone made topics complaining about the reduced prices... Im not even joking

and now that Nexus is removed: Rioting won't get you anywhere anymore in the land of Graal Classic..

Also, heres a tip mister smarty pants: Stop worrying about the prices and focus more on the gameplay. The lantern is only needed for snowtown and deadwood... The horse mounts aren't a forced option and are completely optional in the game

Theres an archery lifetime pass for 500 gralats where you can go test your archery skills. Theres a couple of short/simple quests in the game. Theres a horse race if you buy a horse for one dollar. Theres tower taking, sparring, and guild sparring

Literally, where the hell do you plan to go with this!? The core of a game is the gameplay. Most of the items are completely optional in Graal Classic. They're not a forced option.

If you get past the prices and actually buy some of these items (its optional but its up to you): You'll have little-lots of fun in Graal Classic especially with friends. You're even lucky they're not charging players with cash just to go to York Town. Thats how kind they are.

As an example of this, my brother bought street fighter x tekken. He didn't cared about its price ($65.53) and the DLC which was entirely on the disc but you had to buy unlock discs for it. Same for Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3.

Point in short: Shut the hell up and focus more on the gameplay than the prices. I don't care how much it costs... But if i buy the 100k panda and feel completely satisfied with it... I'll pretty much forget the price itself rather than worrying about paying 45 bucks and feel satisfied with it..

Since when are you obligated to get the two person mount? You say above that cheapest "important" items were never more than 3k. How is the two person mount an essential item? It's just a handy feature for those who want it. If you aren't willing to farm/pay for it, then please do not complain, as you were fine without the possibility of purchasing it two days ago.

They're high because they want to make money... They could care less about making an item rare.

Lol there slow either way 1 or 2 person on it. 1 person on turtle should be normal speed than 2 people would slow it down.

Hell, when it comes to York items, I was just happy the awesome farmers hat on the cart was 1500. The mounts are pretty cool, but I'm content with hitchhiking =w=

That is exactly what i thought! Skill are you encouraging protests? I think that the price is gonna stay and really we cannot do anything about it...
