What are your thoughts on iZone?
 

Do you guys think iZone will be as popular as iClassic or a playercount less than Zone PC (Usually 0 players)

If it's anything like Zone PC, I won't be playing it. But what are your opinions?

It depends on the content and structure of the server in my opinion... so I don't know yet.

I bet it will be popular because they will announce on era and classic "iZONE IS OUT"

It will certainly be more popular the the PC version. The pc version died because it requires gold and has a pay to win gelat shop. And because its several years old. My estimate is after a few weeks it will average out to like 400 players online like when iEra first came out.

Its depends really, if it has the content im expecting i will surely keep playing it.

All i know is that it better be well-developed, or players will start running back to their home server.

Zone is fun on pc. Dunno why no one plays it

I played it around when it was first released. I had so much fun back then fighting with Tao(Siwin) and Gambet. Now with all the new guns, crappy maps, and crappy modes, it's not as appealing to me.

Gonna need another thumb to use the strafe ability that was key in the PC version of Zone

Or it can just be like iEra where you shoot in the way you tap

When iZone comes out i will make a new identity.

I'm sure this upcoming server will be equally as popular as the likes of iClassic and iEra. From the only prerelease screenshot we can gather that it is a new twist on the PC server. Hopefully full of surprises and a mix of futuristic and retro graphics.

I was excited but i'm not now... Taking to much time to get release... Hope it will be something completely different.

It will probably lower the playercount in iClassic.... and iEra so there would be less people on all of the servers.

Most likely if iClassic advertise it like they did for era...

failed once but now that graal has a new client, improved control scheme, and the iphone interfaces all figured out, it'll probably pull in 300-400 players which is beyond awesome.

zone actually has gameplay, unlike era, but its less casual "sit around and cyber" and more of actually doing something so it wont attract the majority of era's playercount.

shame i wont be able to play it on my pc client, the way it was meant to be played.

I don't think it will be that much of a great success. Zone has had its day, and it was great. (personal opinion.) :)

If some of the admins or staff currently on ideleteria are kept then I don't see your server being a success either.

Well, the administrators and staff team are doing a good job with iDelteria, Hence why Unixmad showed some interest. But thanks for your opinion.

i have access to both servers, and both servers are great.
Im not active at the moment because schools stressing me alot.
Will be back after that massive work to do there :D

Zone gives lightsabers that are ezpz to get= happy infernus. And spaceships that let you go through space instead of that stupid click-to-warp map thingy. Id rather fky between the space stations than warp. So boring. Anyways if they have cool ganis andnsuch on weapons and easy melees and no scammy prices, im all for it.

I'll definitely try it - but I didn't like Zone PC. Not sure what to expect.

Did you even play Zone when it "had its day, and it was great"? Ironic you say that while working on iDelteria.





I was going to leave it at that but I'd piss people off since they wouldn't understand my point. You claim Zone had it's day while working on Delteria, which also "had its day, and it was great". Zone has it's own solid gameplay to back it up, should be nice now with the newer gen iDevices. Nothing will beat the old Zone on PC though. :/

Crono's right. Delteria did have it is a new day after all. Hormonal outburst? No, Emera. I'd appreciate it if you'd control your staff team and have them stop taking stabs at Stroseria and its staff. When I say something against Deleteria, I support it. For example, Delteria has failed many times before and it took me forever to even get an answer (Novo's thread) as to why it wouldn't fail. And it seems Novo's thread is quite popular. In a way I did you a favor. Honestly I have nothing against Delteria or the staff--until they start taking childish swipes at Stroseria.

Did I bring up Stroseria? No. This isn't a competition unless you make it that. If the entire Delteria staff team is constantly going to hound on Stroseria and cast random insults then Novo and I had better have a little sit down. I'm sick in tired of you guys calling me and my staff because you get touchy when any of us make one tiny comment against you. I commented that Lewis didn't have much room to talk about a server not having its day anymore. Didn't need three staff to take it the wrong way and start talking against Delteria.

By the by, I don't mean to quash your enthusiasm, but since you constantly use this glorious forum PM from Unixmad as a measure of Delteria's awesomenessandbythewayitisbetterthanStroseria, you should know that a message from him is not terribly uncommon and some other servers have received the same message in months past and not quite raised as much of a ruckus as you have.

Agreed, when it was good, it was my favorite server. Probably the only one I played as much as I did. Now it's quite the sad site, at least it was the last time I saw it. :rolleyes: Is the PC version still going?

Either way, not excited to see iZone, or iDelteria because neither peek my interest visually.

Will I have to purchase a customisation pack again? I hope not.

It's quite possible both will be, but from what I've seen visually neither are that stunning. Since I can't really tell, is iZone really going to use Shawn64 tiles? Seems, or rather feels like a step back from PC Zone.

ill play both of them instead of classic if they actually take the "i" in their names seriously.
