Against it. I'm probably going to end up buying it anyway, but seeing as all of Treyarch's MP games were incredibly unbalanced (CoD3: Team Picking, CoD5: MP40, BO: Famas), I'm definitely not going to get into the multiplayer as much as I did with previous generations. The campaign looks interesting, and the campaigns have been Treyarch's strong point. I'll probably like the campaign; multiplayer not so much. It's a shame most people only buy Call of Duty for the rage-inducing multiplayer.

On a side note, after seeing the trailer again, the graphics seem way over-contrasted and over exaggerated. I just hope that's only in the trailer's case though.

Most people I know buy the game to complete the campaign, then play multiplayer. But still all the CoD games are basically the same.

So supposedly people made unmanned vehicles and weapons(which has already been done and is being done, if you don't believe me look up Boeing.)

Now they say they turned against people? Such an original storyline, I've never heard of a story where robots went against humans. Not to mention the majority of people that obsess over CoD say they play it because it is realistic. Programs do as they are programmed to do and will never change. They don't have emotions. Sure a bug may arise but I don't get wtf this is about. It's sad.

What zombie story? There really isn't a zombie "story", more of a background as an excuse for you to blow up zombies with Ray Guns and whatnot. Like a horribly put together fanfic.

That's true for the most part, but I actually play the campaigns for a challenge on Veteran and its more laid-back playstyle. Playing multiplayer just makes me mad when I get killed by ridiculous tactics like corner camping, knifing, overpowered guns, etc.

I really don't see the Halo comparison though, there's no sign of 'plasma'. It's closer in setting to MGS than Halo.

Judging by the scenes it wouldn't surprise me if the Iraqis or some other middle-east force in association with the Russians, has compromised all their UAVs and other US equipment. I'm thinking probably a man vs machine + terrorist element there while you're in the city areas then some horse-desert combat while you're chasing terrorists.

This looks terrible, I'm almost convinced this trailer is just a bad joke.
Those graphics look like crap, as usual with Treyarch, it's 2012 step it up already.
The plot looks ******ed, everything about this trailer is stupid, looks nothing like a CoD game.
And why was the bald guy from the Hitman games hovering over the logo?

They are going too far with all that "modern" stuff. That´s a mix of CoD and Halo.

I honestly just gave up on the Call of Duty games because they make so many and each time you have to prestige all over again and then the next one comes out and it repeats. One of the reasons why I switched to Battlefield 3. I will get it if it has zombies though. That's the one thing I still do enjoy about Call of Duty.

Already pre-ordered it. I'm hoping it's better than the last one as well as better than MW3. The story seems neat, especially since your actions change the ending, or so I was told. Zombie mode is suppose to be expanded upon.

Overall, I don't really care about CoD history. I always have fun regardless of the games I play, or how in-depth they are. I play a game for the sake of playing a game.

It's not the terminator. The robots are being controlled by the enemy hence the line "No one ever asked, what happens when the enemy steals the keys?"

Personally i despise call of duty but, since the game actully looks fresh, im considering it. Need to see the multiplayer though, and shut up about halo 4 being cod. Halo wont ever go that low.

The zombies story kinda ended when richtofren nuked the earth from the moon >.> and the multiplayer will never be perfect in a cod game. To many rages.

Thats the only thing that make me remotely intrested, atleast there not reheating a leftover game like IW Has been doing.

CoD has been a disappointment since CoD 5. Definitely not buying.
(CoD 5 because I really liked the way they did zombies)

I love MW3... But Halo 4 is gonna own the sh!t out of BO2. Im still getting both, however.

Even thought I am one of the biggest Halo fanboys I know, I'm going to have to disagree. I don't think 343 can create a game with the same amazing developer support and legacy that Halo: CE and Halo 2 created. I'm sure it will be on-par with Reach, and I expect the storyline to be great (343 wrote the Halo books, which are amazing). I'm not so excited for the multiplayer, though. In all honesty, it seems like its going to be like what Black Ops did to the Call of Duty series. This could be preferrable to some people, just not me.

What really? 343 is entirely dedicated to Halo, I don't think there is any lack of developer support. They are doing so many things to progress and evolve the series yet keep the core of why we all like Halo intact. They're already bringing back the BR which already pushes it past Reach imo. After Halo 2 Bungie has done little to nothing to the matchmaking. And what do you mean fair and balanced gameplay?! Thats what Halo has always been about, point out one gun in Halo that gets abused and overpowers the rest.
Im not sure what you meant with the MW3 reference. MW3 uses the same graphics as its previous title from 2-3 years ago, nor is it balanced and fair at all, so either way its wrong.

And I'm not flaming :) I used to be pretty skeptical but if you look at all the things 343 is doing its hard not to believe they are making an amazing new Halo for us.

But to keep this on topic, people were already bitching about Mw3 coming out and now theres already Black Ops 2, the CoD series is getting burnt out fast.
It will be over 2 years since the last halo when 4 comes out and we'll actually see something new unlike CoD.
Call of duty used to be cool, now its a joke and you get labeled as a raging 12 year old if you say youre actually a fan of the series.

I lost hope in the CoD franchise after purchasing MW2.
Black Ops 2 will be pure crap.
The story itself is illogical, Woods blew himself up and survived it with no scratches whatsoever.

I don't know, I wasn't the biggest fan of Reach, it didn't seem as balanced as the previous games with the armor abilities and classes. Also, for whatever reason, it didn't seem to have the smooth gameplay that Halo 2 and 3 had. Might just be a placebo effect for me. This is probably just my hipster side coming out, but I'm still a fan of the earlier generations. I'm still in that skeptical stage about an upcoming game (felt that way about Anniversary), but I'm sure I'll come to like it at one point or another. They did a fantastic job with Anniversary and the Reach map packs. The trailers and previews just seemed a bit odd to me.

It's just whenever another developer/producer takes over a seasoned series or franchise, it doesn't turn out too well. Arby and the Chief was a perfect example. They did some things right, but in the end, it was just... bad. I just hope history doesn't repeat itself, I'd be sad to see my favorite series turn into another Call of Duty game.

And I know you're not flaming, you're a pretty chill guy ^.^ And as for the one overpowered gun, Halo 3 Needler. Whenever I was killed by that, violent images went through my mind.
