Merging Servers...
 

From the news today I learned that the Facebook server and the iPhone server are merging and so I have a few questions.

1. What happens to VIP?

2. what happens to guilds with hours on Facebook?

3. what caused the change?

1. The vip will still stay than you can use it to play on other devices when you have some =)

2. i wanna know too what they will do with the tower guild's but i think that xor/stefan will find a way

3. I hope that they will use the tileset from the facebook server and the map because it looks better than the iClassic (sorry but it's true).
facebook newbies will see that there are more than 40 players online and will say that the server/game is not death :P

Confused. Will there still be two seperate leaderboards or will they merge? Because if you put both server guilds on one board it'll be completely unfair to iphone guilds. Even if you dont care about fairness what about fatal zz? Would there fb and iphone hours combine?

It would take me awhile to get used to a new tileset.

I don't disagree with you, but I'm curious as to why you think that merging tower hours would be unfair?

Is it me or the playercount is getting lower at this very second? I mean itd on 282 and my connection is dead!

You should still watch the npcs though (like the tree(top)s)

what about being able to access iPhone from Facebook,as part of the VIP, would that go aswel? so it wouldn't leave alot of advantages of VIP :/

Not many people use the facebook server anyway. VIP would have the exact same perks.

Lol yeah I'm looking forward to seeing what happens with all this... and to see if mighty zZ FATAL Zz get forttime combined to 2500hrs :P lol but I dowt it will happen maybe they will just make FB House on main server showing who got 1k on server and who was first/second etc (showing there achievement hat and ldr) I think that would be quite cool.

Looking forward to not working my ass off to earn 7500 gralats monthly just to play the game on the iPhone server. This update is great for people who do not have an iDevice anymore, and also for new users who found out about Graal from Facebook. It will be less boring. One step in the right direction!

I only want to be sure that if I have revoked access to my Facebook account, I will still be able to play on my Graal account on the same Facebook once VIP is up. I have heard some problems in this before.

I hope the grass remains the same. It's impossible to tell where it divides on the Facebook server.

Sounds good to me, and who cares about the tower hours, that is a trivial matter, they're just numbers.

I hope they use the Facebook tile set though, pics1 is el terriblé

How will the GST run then?

They can still detect if you're on a pc or not, two separate GST, and at different dates to avoid confusion

They may have two different tournaments held on different days if they are still separating iDevices from the PC (which I hope they will do).

This would be amazing. Instead of VIP letting you go to the fb server, it lets you change the tilesets!

Well Rufus I know your not much of a tower guy but compared to iphone server taking towers on fb is a complete joke. Like towers on fb usually have 1-4 people iphone its more like 8-15. Its uncomparable how much easier fb is thats why if they put fb guilds above guilds on iphone it would kind of suck to see fb guilds with like 1200 hours above all classic 1k guilds. Fb you can get towers so much easier so time just sky rockets iphone your lucky if you can get 2 towers, fb you can get 3-4 towers easily. But I guess every guild had the chance to boost there hours like this so I guess it can't be helped if they merge leaderboard.

Lets admit it, creating the FB server was a big mistake in the first place.

1.It gave gave an unfair advantage towering guilds for quick n ez 1000hr prize
2. ^-- those scores are going to combined to iphone score board?!
3. No one used the FB to begin with. The most ppl ive ever seen on it was 200, and that was when a staff member announced an event for fb server
4. Is it rly necessary to repeat the unfair advantages PC users have?...

Ya im glad FB server is being deleted... But merging will also cause problems... Thats why it shouldnt have been made in the forst place.

Yeah Stefan should go back in time and delete the facebook server

Mr Simons. If I read correct it is recommended you remove items from gh and house as when the servers merge it will overlap your existing house on iPhone server as in the items will land where they were on fb but in iPhone.

Why make the GST on different days? Wouldn't that make people join 2 GSTs on different accounts? I'd rather like to see pc/iphone mixed in the same GST than have players with multiple accounts join both tournaments.

Or have two separate GSTs on the same day?

Tough project, but this whole occurrence is a great update.

Staff never explained when this will be taking place, but I hope they do soon.

Or here's an idea. iPhone only gst... We have 2 servers pc have countless they don't need to get in our events lol. I think I speak for most, Graal iphone was WAY better when you couldn't use pc and it's advantages to be good.

Because the Fb server fails plain and simple.







My guess is that guilds will merge hours with the hours they had on both Fb and iPhone. But i see the complaints coming in

I do agree that things were much better without PC advantages, but there's nothing that can be done about that now. They can still host two separate tournaments somehow. I just don't want iPhone and PC in one together.

I don't really have a problem with PC access in the GST, but I don't support it either. To me, the advantages aren't really gamebreaking, they just get annoying sometimes when they run through hits. Then again, I'm a noob sparrer and I don't know anh better. I guess it's useful for people that have no other way of accessing Graal, but it really shouldn't be a paid service. There should have been a log in system in the first place rather than UDID identification.

good news about the guilds, the hours are gonna be joined. But I have seen soul of ninjas are 5 towers on Facebook and so when they merge they will have alot of time...

Nope. I believe that the community changed a lot when Facebook came out, and not in a good way.
