Unbanning people now impossible?

I'm banned and asked snk if he could unban me.
He said it's not possible for him anymore and I said it's alright.

I was banned before and he unbanned me like 4 weeks ago.
Is he telling the truth?

Or is it just impossible to get unbanned in my case?
Or does he just don't like me? lol

My first ban was because of Faking In-App purchases. (I really intended to buy gralats with real money lol)

The second ban is for the same reason again.

Mainly, people who banned you are the only one who can unban (or higher)... But since npcserver is the highest, then you will need to get unbanned manually, there will be no more logs about that and snk would not risk that. So basically, you can't get unbanned by snk.

Why make a thread? Are you looking for a flame war? This won't get you unbanned any quicker. Seems like you're just looking for attention

The server banned me. And now Snk says unbanning now is impossible.

There is no hierarchy for that system. It doesn't exist, and even if it were there (which it's not), you could just modify the script.

That means, any Admin could unban me?

PS:Would be nice if a admin could clear things up.

From what I can tell from a little reverse engineering, the ban system does not have any hierarchy system in place, and anybody who has ban rights can ban, and anybody who has unban rights can unban. There are no privilege levels that dictate who is able to ban certain players, and who is able to reverse bans of other players. On top of this, even if such a system were in place, it would be very easy for any scripter to override.

They're not going to tell you the truth, anyway. And an IAP cracker wouldn't even work on an MMO because the server is the one who decides if you've purchased anything or not, the client has no authority in this matter and if it did, it would be 100% accurately, automated detectable. They shouldn't ban for it if it's literally impossible to use.

I know many other games, where just an error pops up and says "can't purchase, ERROR 045" or something like that.

That would be waay better.

I can't unban you, you've already been caught for it once in which case I unbanned you. Since it's happened again, I can't.
Why should I unban somebody that is trying to steal money?

well since he did it once, do you think he thought trying again would do something different? thats what i dont like about the detection system, players that have the iap cracker installed dont always remember to take it off before buying a gralat pack, its not even possible for it to work, so why put a punishment if you dont know if its on purpose? just a error message saying inap cracker was detected and it sending a message on rc notifying of it,


its like a guy had a knife in his backpack, and a policeman arrests him for robbery when he buys something from a store since he had a knife, so he could have been intending on robbing the store.

This is scaring me. My clan leader got banned. I don't know for how long.

All bans are a month on Era. I've removed the year ban.

Wrong; Knives can be used for many things, iAP cracker is simply used to illegally gain in-app benefits.

If he had iAP Cracker, he's most likely committing illegal activity anyway...

It's like trying to download a movie illegally and you don't realize it. Even if you don't realize you're doing it, you're still committing illegal activity and will be punished.

Also I think bans should be, first 3 days, then 10 days and then 30 days, but it depends on the ban situation.

He probably unbanned you the first time to warn you, because it was your first time. Now, he knows that you know about the auto-ban that comes with app cracker, so he won't unban you. Next time, just turn off app cracker and you should be able to buy more stuff just fine.

But you forgot you have iap enabled. It needs to warn you like it does with UDID filter.

It's easy to forget in the spur of the moment.

I've only got iAP cracker once to get money for jet pack joyride, but I forgot to take it off and tried to buy a gralat pack on era. PLEASE make a warning when you start the game that it detects the cracker. You can't buy packs without it off/uninstalled.

So stupid. You auto-ban for a month for this? That's so fucking priceless.

I'd say it's safe to say that somewhere in the realm of 75+% of your regular users have bought the customization pack. The customization pack is typically something someone would buy within their first week to month playing. Imagine if you get banned for a month after having just bought the game, that's pathetic.

I mean, these people are clearly on the in-app purchase page for a reason. They want something on that page. You have planted the seed successfully and what they want is right there.

It is impossible for them to steal it with an iAP cracker. Therefore, why the unholy fuck would you ban them when they're right there on the page, looking at your product, WANT the damn thing, and could be literally SECONDS AWAY from being an impulse-buy customer?!
