How Not To Get Scammed!!!!!!
 

Seeing everyone on graal gets scammed now. i guess its time to make a guide on how not to get scammed.

First: Pm the guy and ask if u can buy whatever that is You want to buy\sell. Then he'll say "sure u first though".

[COLOR="rgb(72, 61, 139)"]Now This next step Will usually weed out the scammers. Ask them to come the Spar Complex so u guys can trade safely(ill explain how to trade at the complex later). After you ask them, sit back and relax as the dumbest excuses will come your way. Offer to show them the method of how u will trade. Anything but a yes means they are a scammer. Just Mock Them and annoy them (Will make a Guide for this). :)[/COLOR]

This is how you trade safely in the spar complex.
FIRST: Go to an empty Player Spar Room.(a room with two or three people is fine too just be aware of them lurking around.)

SECOND: Go to the back of the room and there you will see the flower pots with spaces that will ONLY fit one person in it.

Third: Place Yourself on One side of the longer flower pot and the other guy on the other side.

Fourth: Drop your items!!! (if u get this far and theres no dispute then hes probably Legit or thinks hes really smart)

Fifth: Move away from you item slowly. if he doesnt move OR he moves but he didnt drop, Then go back to your item and pick it up. (If hes legit Then this will be a really smooth process.)

NOTE : He might move half way towards u and then suddenly try to pick up his item and catch u off guard and then steal your item. Unless you somehow fell asleep, CALMLY go back to ur item and pick it up. Your body will shield him from getting to your item.

OTHER NOTES: You Could try and find other places to trade but make sure its in a non-pk area. ALSO the distance from you and the other guy when u drop is long enough for you to see him even when the Box to Drop Pops up.

FOLLOW THiS and you will make safer trades or be ready to Catch those scammers and make fun of them.(ill put up another guide on how u annoy a scammer) Remember: Getting Scammed once Hopefully made You smarter, more caution and more critical in the game and in real life :) Remember to think before u do something.

There may be someone in his house and when you move away from the item the trader picks up his item and his friend leaves the house and takes yours.
Other than that its an awesome guide :D

No, what he means is that, someone will be in the position that you at. They will go to their house, their friend will pm them, they go out of their house an take your item.

Ok thats a possiblity but u realize that the chances his friend or the guy knew exactly where u were gonna stand and got there before you is very slim.

I nearly got scammed in the comic club area, he had2 friends in his house, so if I say switch places there's always someone to steal me, he then told me to drop etc. and he did too, I then dropped my item, but thank God his laggy friend couldn't move or something, so I quickly picked up and left.

I just realized that I feel much safer making a trade on HackForums than I do on Era.
