I do not think Stefan will put forth the time and organization to improve the main forums and staff them well enough to make them better than these. If he does, I will be very disappointed because he has much better things to spend his time on. He might though, just to kick these forums in the shin.

Then let's buy some shin guards.

This could be nice, I guess, but there is a certain number of "These prices are too damn high!" threads I can handle. The number would just escalate on the Official ones, and it would turn from moaning to Xor or whatever to Stefan.

Nah. Even if official forums sparks a new interest due to this they'll be scared off by Darlene in a month. Tops.

Darlene still isn't as strict as these forums.

Lots of MMORPGs and games have official forums and fan communities, it's not one or the other. I hope he does open it up, it will be good for the newer players who want to better themselves in Graal development. That's about all it offers though.

Well I'm just worried about spammers. With the current forums you need to have purchased something, if they allow players onto it with any iPhone account it would be flooded with spam accounts.

They may link it only to Classic+ accounts?

Stefan was forced to respond to an angry thread about how much the forums sucked, so he said it would theoretically be possible to let iPhone players join.

I don't think it's going to happen, lol.

iPhone players on PC forums is always gonna be bad for the current forum inhabitants.

Doubt it's going to happen. Even if it does, it'll only be for development purposes.

The official forums are too poorly run and have really bad rules, which will bring most of the iCommunity back here anyway.

Darlene and Unixmad

Unixmad is almost never on, he doesn't enforce rules. Darlene does.

The reason most of the iCommunity is here is because for 1 its been promoted via broadcast and news on both servers(whether direct through promotions or indirect for contests and such), and it is free unlike the official forums where you have to buy a subscription at least once to use it.

I still prefer Graalians' layout. And the community. I'm fine here.

Also because the iPhone servers are left out of the main forums, and they were never added to them or provided a different forum.
Rufus took it upon himself to make a place the iPhone players can have forums and discussion too.
and for that we thank him* ;)

yeah ever since gralat disappeared there hasn't been a way to discuss graal outside of the game.
