Ok so I want you guys to post yours, your friends, your alt's ANYBODYS ban that you think is absoutely outrageous. My friend got banned for saying does anybody want to chat using the messaging system called KIK. He got a 800 hour ban. Now half of Graal is saying that and now nobobdy is getting banned except my friend

I think the ban OP is talking about was his ban, and he's posting this thread in hopes that someone with the ability to lift bans will read this, and ask him what his "friend"'s PCID is to 'look into it'.

Sorry if I'm interpreting this wrong, but that what came off to me after I read the OP.

I was banned for "blocking" I was afk then I come back and Im banned (24) hours.
Also, I was banned for spamming staff :3 teehee (10) hours.

I got banned for pking people farming in the 2000 hour area :)

another time I got banned because I was lagging and it warped me into the black area of the burger refuge, and before I could unstick I was banned for a few hours.

Blame Julius for his assumptions as well as strictness, and the people who use it for other purposes.

globally banned from all graal for 45 days labeled as "purposely destroying game content" under server destruction for telling a friend about something on Azrael's blog pretending it was leaked to see his reaction, talked to bell and got it removed, but then Xor rebanned me and forced Bell to leave it :(

I remember in the Angel Clan hat shop there was new hats and everyone was going over there and I went in there and did the "AFK" emoticon and covered one of the hats, then Lollipop jailed me for however long, I cant remember.

During the time of the protests against babies, one of my friends in the guild for "scamming" when we did nothing to scam anyone. Everyone moved to the bank, all mad about his banning, and then I got banned for "Staff Harassment/Severe Vulgarity". The staff harassment part I might understand, but what confuses me is the vulgarity part. I wasn't saying anything that could be considered remotely offensive, and that somehow ends up being a reason for banning. However, there were some that actually WERE harassing staff and being vulgar there, so it could've been the admin who banned me getting the wrong person. Meh.

I got a several thousand hour ban for saying "9/11 is the ninth of november" in Graal City, it was lifted within the minute but it was still stupid.

You can be banned for having multiple bans. That's like sending someone to jail again for having a prison record >_>

My most strangest ban was about 1/2 years ago when the new hat shop came out and it was crowdey so i started pking and got jailed for blocking

I got banned once, because a guy next to me was calling admins fa**ots and [Admin] had misclicked and accidently clicked me and I was unbanned 2 hours later. I am not naming this person... But, it was pathetic about their clicking skills.

Ya, admins who have bad clicking skills should get fired. there should be a clicking test before an admin gets hired.

Lol I can imagine Stefan or Xor doing that and in the 30 mins that only 2 staff members are there somebody comes and actually gets through the system and crashes the hole system once and for all.

Most of the rididculous bans are the auto bans.I got banned for wall hacking because server lag or something.I was defending deadwood tower and kept respawning in the flag and so did the attackers then i got warped to q black area then banned for thousand hours or so but it was gone in a few hours.

Crashing the entire system is more difficult than it sounds, especially if you mean some kiddie hacker using moms iphone. If you want to accomplish this, a DDoS attack would be the way to go IMO. What your basically doing in this case is controlling a lot of other computers and targeting a system to the point wherein you take up all the bandwidth and crash the system. To be clear, I am in no way encouraging such an attack; it is a federal crime.

When i started iEra i had 1 hour or so and somebody invited me to his car. I accepted then he made a little tour and at the end he dropped me with his car on top of era fashion... Then i got jailed 30 minutes lol xD but not the guy who put me.

A friend got banned 2000 hours for that....

My friend Gamecenter warped me into jail. i had no timer or anything and when i feedbacked for help i got banned for 3 days

I'm pretty sure Stefan has DDoS protection and would block all the malformed packets that are trying to crash the servers.

I was banned in classic back in 2009-2010..Some people were blocking the bank. I just walked by and banned for 24 hrs.

Similar thing happened to me, I had only like 650 hours on iEra, and this guy wanted to show me a secret building. So I got into his car, and then he drove to Era Bank. He used iFile and deleted the NPCs, so the windows weren't there. He also shifted the map. So, he drove up onto Era Bank. Then, he got out of his car and went to his house. I went to PM a staff member, and after I did, Pimpsy was right next to me. and he said "Glitching, hmmm?" and I said "No, someone drove me up here in their car" so Pimpsy said "No, its ok though, im fine with you glitching". And then he jailed me for 30 minutes.

He probably does, I was only suggesting that because my friend crashed Maplestory once doing this. So it is possible to compromise a server with a DDoS. Since then maplestory has taken a lot of measures to increase security though. Anyways, this has gotten really off topic XD. Therefore, I will add this. I once got banned for saying that the rps item looked like you were jacking off. I got banned for 2 hours if I recall correctly.
