Because I play many servers. Most hats are stolen off iClassic

I was just about to post this. :mad: I know how you feel. Like one of Wazzah's isn't his. That was in the token shop from iClassic. Kind of pisses me off...

Wassah says he told snk and snk was ok with it.

Those NPCs are annoying. Have to go all the way around them

here we go again ok we all know this but your starting a thread over a npc no offense but it sounds like your wanting your npc thats why i think your starting this thread who ever creates the level (coop, snake rekon, or any other staff) can put who they want dosen't say they made the hat i take those npcs to model the hat so i have a better idea what it looks like on my head

Yeah I agree, should be 100% original or a heavy edit.

Personally we should get rid of the stolen hats and not upload other hats ripped from other servers :p

I think sharing hats between the servers is fine, but claiming credit is NOT okay, maybe in the hat description it should say "Made by ----- of iClassic" because the hats were originally created for and uploaded to iClassic.

I hope they ban the thieves, if they want a npc so much they can have a npc of them in a jail cell.

The problem is that can be deleted and replaced, you know if the person submitting it doesn't have their name and hat name In the space all fancy, there is a reason to believe they didn't make it.

I still don't really get what exactly our "Graphic's Team" does for our server? Besides Loki, the other member's just create graphics for themselves or whatever gang they own. But we won't mention names =) Divine system we have here.

Snk adds the hats and inside Rufu's Hat Shop, the NPC's next to the hat(s) are the said "creator" of the hat. They get that NPC as well as the hat they "created" for free.

To be honest I was there so it went like this
Snk: 'Did you make these?'
Wahzaah: 'Edit :/'
Snk: 'Thought so, ill still add them though'
And it went from there.

its not a edit,edit is so its really different, alot of work put into it, at most they just recolor or change a tiny bit and steal peoples hard work. MAKE THEM SUFFER.

I feel that people should not take/get credit for edits. It is unfair and send out a signal to other players that it is okay to steal graphics. Good find.

I asked snk if he could delete my NPC (if he thinks it's necessary) because I'm not the original creator and I don't deserve the credit for the hats. And X2, you are right.

I hope a actual punishment for stealing graphics is given. That hat should be removed and removed from you, and ban you from any more of these competitions.

We don't punish players for stolen Graphics, that just ridiculious :o

I personally don't add player NPC's to my levels, I prefer to avoid such things.

I remember seeing the same hat two or three times, by different people there was no edit. It was the blue lizard. :0

Back on topic:

If hats where just edited from classic, then uploaded here, I think it is bad. They did not make it, they either re-colored it or added something small. Please remove those hats or at least their NPC's.

Some guy just went out and stole a head. Back when the custom head system came out I edited this one cloak head and made it into an animation.

I talked to the original creator and everything turned out to be ok in the end. I got rid of it anyways, but it ended up in Soulslayer's website.

what? are you ****ing kidding me? they lied, they stole someones work, and they had the intention of scamming staff into getting a hat they didnt make free and the fame of it! they actually stole, they better face punishment for trying this crap

I'm done contributing to iEra. I just hate how it's run. It's completely based on who is favored more/what is the fastest way to get this done.

Uh, what punishment would you even want? Punishing players for trying to steal seems ridiculious as I already said. x.x
Also, we share our systems with classic, why not our hats? Classic even sent me the entire folders of hats and stuff for the server, for use on Era.
Sharing resources is legit imo.

In my opinion atleast, who cares if they made it or not or think they're getting fame for it. You guys are all out on a mission to complain about something, everything, anytime you can z.z

We don't have time to sit there checking who made what, we'll deal with that after.

To be honest, we could just ignore these forums completely and it wouldn't matter, but we do check them because we value input. You guys are forever raging hard about the most trivial of things just because you're bored.

It's only HATS for christ sake, I don't know why you have to get so butt-hurt over that fact, we can all agree players are stupid, they like to hope they can get away with things.
The better punishment is just denying their hat to be put onto the server, there is NO need at all, to go any further than that.

Obviously you don't read the forums much, pretty sure you see difference of opinion throughout the forums x.x
Also, when you are staff, you see things from a differnet point of view and actually understand about why things are done or aren't done, it's not a bias thing, it's an understanding of what actually entails when becomming staff.

We're pretty vocal about things on RC, we don't need to be vocal in public.

what have i stolen then? what have i tried to trick staff into doing? im just saying, if you want it to stop youll need to start giving bans, or stuff will get through, you are just asking for players to try stealing graphics for the shop now that they know that even if they get caught, they get off scot free.

When and where did I say anything about you having stolen anything? I think your reading ability has decreased to the realms of "GOTTA MAKE **** UP!".
If things get through, they can be removed later, simple as really.
I can bring up the issue with Snk if you like, indicating if the item is stolen, their npc should be removed. yeah?
