What happened? Like a month ago they put a sneak peak in the Facebook news then they still haven't added it

they posted a pic of them, doesn't mean they were releasing them

If you're not going to release a finished product, don't show pictures of it. That's an unspoken promise. And honestly, I don't like to be teased.

who said it was finished? just because the graphic part of the project is finished, doesn't mean the entire project is done.
The scripting for the boats still needs to be worked on, snake said earlier that day when the picture was posted.

I'll let you guys know, the dynamics of adding boats to the map, is pretty.. yeah x.x the ocean itself is too small.

You could always make a kayak that floats but when used the user flips and is eaten by cuddly Care Bears.

The point is that the boat wouldn't move at all solving this over crowding problem.

It's not really an overcrowding issue, our ocean is really quite small overall and isn't that great for boats, I mean I had thoughts of just making an entire new gmap purely for an ocean that you can drive in, but then seems useless xD

A massive dock in the middle of an ocean with two island bases or shopping malls whichever is more popular.

The ocean needs to be huge for boat to be useable sustainably, other wise your going to waste your money on a vehicle in which will never be used as the ocean size isnt big enough.

Are you acting like everyone's going to use their boats all at the same time every day? The first few days will be madness. Then people will stop using boats as much.

You could expand the ocean. :/

I also don't think the ocean's big enough for 1000+ players to be in their boats. Wouldn't be fun :/

Wouldn't expanding the ocean require the whole gmap to be expanded?

I'd say a boat that fits 15 player maximum - Gang Boat :p

Boats are gonna die down just like cars..at least test them and if it turns out bad refund us? Idk just Ideas..

The GMAP doesn't expand quite so easily like that I believe x.x Sure we could just add a bigger ocean, but that seems pointless if theres nothing beyond it

Then add something, I'm sure people could come up with ideas. Isn't there a boat that leads off map on the western side anyways? That could be an expansion of a more water based town

I guess it could use a boat. It doesn't take that long to get to the other island. I mean I would totally agree 100% if era's map was huge as ****. But it's not.

Hmm..maybe 2 or 3 boats that you can grab in the water kinda like you kick that beach ball around the whole era city..but only boats in water..and whenever someone gets out you can get in..like i said just ideas..that seems quite interesting.

thatd be fun. in the new map a boat racing track could be added which would function like the horse racing track on iclassic. itd also be cool to have a fishing job and the ability to raid boats :P

I think the map is ok when you guys will add the boat because if we look at the map carefully the land part have buildings but we can use cars and almost all of players got cars then in the water part there are just few buildings and i can assume that 1 month after the boats is released there would be just few that will use them.

Just wait, you'll see.

We should have 2 Boat gas stations, 1 on each side of the bridge
