Nah, its because I taught him how to make good levels, but when he posted a thread of his levels, its just my levels edited, but he took all the credit.

John, remember you are a trainee LAT, why bother posting all your edits on the forum, what exactly are you giving players as a surprise when you post everything before hand? Seems like you're just trying to show off at this point.

Be more thoughtful in future.

As for MSM, I'd love to see screenshots of your supposed Original Levels? I'm sure they'd clear everything up on this forum! :)

nah I don't care about showing off, I'm still waiting for some assignments from coop which I got none so far. Asking for ugly levels is a good way to train to know what's the weak side of the level.
EDIT: trust me, I don't wana show off, if I would I'll just go and post my mafia levels and some others...

no, not screenshots of the level, but screen shots of the email he sent with the level... That would be better proof that he isnt lieing.

Just a suggestion, but would!'t it be better to only use te darker wood tiles for light effects instead of randomly putting them on the floor?

actually It does sometimes on brighter levels, I like to make them random to fill in empty space.

My point still stands in regards to showing players things, especially if you decide to upload them into the game at a later date.

I don't have a problem with you asking for ugly levels, my problem was with you editting and reposting the screenshots lol, where is all the building up suspense and showing them a great level at the end of your hard work?

Also, spend more time on your levels - they feel rushed.

custom levels takes an hour or two, which I will have enough time to make a maximum of 5 a day. But I thought I'll make this to see how quick I should think when Re-Editing a level.
I re-edit my levels when I'm done always. the most hard part is getting the Ideas so I mash up stuff to get one then delete everything, so making edit's saves alot of time.

Eh, you said you were bored further up the thread, now you complain it takes a few hours to make each level? Getting mixed messages here mang. What's wrong with making detail levels to show your style and your weaknesses better than just editting some flooring?
