Nerfing of weapons
 

At first the nerfed pbp which is reasonable..
Then they nerfed ksg to bad that no one is using it anymore
now they nerfed the light saber and the umbrella...
What the hell is happening to iera?
That is not the way they should balanced the weapons..
WHEN THE ITEM IS ALREADY SOLD AT THE PLAYERS THEY SHOULD NOT CHANGE IT OR NERFED IT... Its is very dissapointing that the next hours after you brought the weapon.. They change its stats... It sucks..

Many players would quit this game if they continue that kind of policies..:angry:

I got my friend irl to play,he had every gun and when the great nerf happened he left..he even sold his iPhone that had his account xD long before identify system ..

They will if admins continue to abuse their power by nerfing the damn weapons that they want.. Many player had quit this game because of stupid scamming and nerfing... Youll see soon the numbers of player will decrease..

Highly doubt Apple is going to refund iTunes balance because people are assdamaged that their virtual item was altered by the creators of said virtual item, who also hold rights to do whatever they want with the game.

Right, because all of the 1,200 players on right now are going to decide to quit the game, along with all of their hard earned Gralats and items, throw everything out the window because lightsabers can't block bullets.

It's not fair if you buy something all singing and dancing then a few days later, happy with your new item it gets nerfed. How would you feel spending 125k on a pbp or 70k+ on an umbrella knowing how awesome it is then the awesome powers of wonderfulness gets taken away. To some impatient kids, (which most of iera is)they spend money on the game that could feed over 200+kids in Africa just to get that one item which soon gets taken away. Imagine buying a toy that on the label says "Dinosaur that breathes fire", you buy it and go home and it works like a charm, then the next day it's broken, after you spend £20 on it.

Sorry for the longass speech I just feel strongly for this topic.

Maybe you feed them first before buying the items if you really worry so much about them?
Also 90% of the players are just trying to find something to complain about with the umbrella. They would have even bought it if it was just an animation without any melee/whatever effects.

Some weapons were just overpowered and need to be balanced. It's not the staffs decision, it's always the upper staff. Not everyone got the right to change the stats and not every staff does always agree with it.

Admin should ask the players first about the weapon(if it is balance or not) before they do the trick of nerfing it..
You will not feel good if you bought a weapon then on the next day booom... Its nerfed..

Sadly admins wont listen to us.. They dont event bother to read this thread because they know we have a point and we are right...

If they are gonna release the weapon, try it out before nerfing it with some staff's second account. If its overpowered, nerf it. If I see this happening I might feed some little African kids out of happiness and sympathy of a loss of no-money or virtual items.

Wtf are you talking about? The staff actually does check this forums even though we don't have to as it's just a fan site. And no we won't ask players for permission to nerf stuff or anything like that. Sometimes you just realize that the gun is overpowered/underpowered when a lot of people are using it.

So it means that players cannot reverse the decision of the upper staff even if it is not good for the entire game.. Then how can we express ourselves, how can we communicate with them and tell them that NERFING THE WEAPON AFTER YOU SOLD IT TO THE PLAYER IS NOT COOL?..
Theres no point in selling it then change it just because they think it was overpowered.. If it is overpowered weapon then they shoudnt release it at all..

And by the way admin should post an updates when they change a weapon stats.. They should be more transparent to the players..

PS: how did the umbrella and light saber become so overpowered... If so.. They should change it the day it has been released..

Look at larsex, poor guy, got his soul sucked into this video game and now spends a sh*load of money just to lose it all.please donate to this helpless victim of non-caringness, just un-nerf weapons and he will live because his parents won't kill him because he now has an awesome bar.

Basicly you complain when we nerf guns because now they "suck" but you complain aswell if we don't nerf the guns because they are overpowered. Also you could come in a mature way and ask normally rather than FLIPPING TOTALLY OUT WITH CAPSRAGE.

We already handle it out to staff and ask them for their oppinions. Also it's handled to players in auctions as example to check how it is.

No thats not my point... I complain that they should not release a weapon that is overpowered in the first place and then nerfed it after the player had already purchased it.. At least they should spare the melee weapons.. Imagine how many months of EC saving before you can buy a light saber... And you need luck and gralats in bidding for the umbrella... Its a rare melees,, not everyone can have it.. Why nerfed it?...and i apologize for the CAPSRAGE its just im pissed with that nerfing updates..

I agree that nerffing stuff when it's been released for months is just terrible. It sends the message, "we are going to make your current guns crappy so you have to buy our new gun in order to win. We will end up ruining this gun later down the road as well, but whatever." it's annoying to spend gralats, and in most peoples cases, real money, to get that gun that fits you and your style of play, then all of a sudden it's trashed with no warning.

From a staff members perspective, players who don't have said gun do bitch about how guns are OP a lot then when they change it, people who had the gun cry. It's a series cycle. I don't blame the staff for nerffing guns. But I agree that it's annoying as hell

My solution would be if you nerf a gun, reimburse the current owners of the gun a small portion of gralats. Say 1k per nerff. Just so it's not such a large kick in the balls. But we all know that won't happen

I agree but they should test anything that is gonna be released thoroughly, just because someone died because someone just owned them is part of era, you get killed, you face it.

wow read callimuc's reply again..if u are concerned about the african kids out of happiness and sympathy you sir should help them first before buying virtual items.

and im sure staffs cant noticed problems in items that fast because every item has different advantages and disadvantages to each player. Im sure upper admins concluded players that feedback their opinion and comments to the items then admin just do their work to keep everyone satisfied.

and i just know 7 people who got lightsaber. how the fk 1200 players quit because of that lightsaber cant block any bullets anymore O.o

Like I said we already test them but sometimes you just realize it when a lot of people have it. We aren't even allowed to add items to our iAccounts, just if snk or any other higher staff allows to. It's always a little bit different to test it on the PC.

kk nerf overpowered weapons, it´s ok BUT, why nerf the ak? why cant you walk while shooting now anymore? i don´t understand, and ak was pretty cool for spar.... now every weapon which doesnt costs 20000k sucks...

Anyway, some weapons are really overpowered and Graalians who do not spend money on virtual guns and packs and can only save to an M4 find it quite hard to play against a PBP spammer in a base or when you spar against someone with it. and these seemingly invincible Umbrella users, who stand in the flag room and block everything whatsoever.

The umbrella and light saber doesnt block melee attack anymore.. The updates supose to remove the reflect from melee not the blocking... Now even a mushroom knife can kill a lighsaber user in a blocking mode.. :\

They should put ability to block a melee attack while moving.. Or just return the items into its original state...
Besides evryone work hard to earn that items.. It is not fair that they nerfed it without any compensation to the user...

why isnt that not fair? its FAIR example: you´r sparring and a guy with an lightsaber is reflecting ur damn bullets, no chance to win

What im saying is its not fair for a player who spend his time and money collecting EC or gralats.. Then it got nerfed because some people think it was way overpowered.. The player who exert his/her effort to get that weapon deserves that weapon including its special ability...

People complaining about nerfing guns have a point. But don't go too far, umbrella was too op in the first place, so the idiots complaining about nerfing an overpowered gun just quit.
Besides its concluded in apple's ToS that any in game update has to be handled by the manufacturer and costumers must agree to it by playing the game. Basically that's in every game server. So if you're annoyed, give suggestions just don't run around like an idiot crying you lost money.

It doesn't matter whether your weapon is overpowered or not. It still gets nerfed. Like my starter pistols. In fact. I'm beginning to find napalm overpowered. It's not a gun either and it's inexpensive to buy.

Beating a lightsaber in spar isn't that hard. Have fast melee and good reflexes and you will win, bad example.

All we ask is a refund.... Refund us,, we dont want the weapon anymore because its main functionality of blocking the melee attck and reflecting it was gone.. Or just return the light saber and umbrella to its original stats..
Every owner of umbrella and light saber is disappointed.. Even a crab dagger can easily kill a light saber or an umbrella user.. And the fact that the crab dagger is free and unfortunately the saber and umbrella is not.. :\

Can you admins just spare the melee weapon from nerfing...

Remember that the light saber is also 100 EC.

Bro crab dagger is a beast melee, you should more like say a machete or a cactus sword would own umbrella anytime, as I have experienced it with my umbrella :/

Why ask a refund? You brought it at your own decision, you should have known it was going to get nerffed. Besides, if the weapon doesn't work, try a use of it.

Actually let me give yu a example, say you buy a idevice from apple for $500, apple say it's one of there best creation ever and one of the powerful they have ever created, afte a day or two, you play with, it gets faulty, what would you do? Oh wait! Human instinct go back to bloody apple and complain either demand a refund or ask them to fix it!
