Since we have ec event every hour
Why can't we have a auction every 5-8 hours?

Because then the rare items will no longer be rare?
Auctionning stuff off so frequently just defeats the point of it really, eventually the price of them will plummet to low amounts so you can get stuff cheap lol.

It's fine giving players what they want occasionally.. but if that was always the case we'd be one shot killing each other and flying around in spaceships.

That is true if everyone went to the auctions every 5-8 hours by the time you know it everyone has a souzin.

The auctions are usually overpriced anyway...their fun to be at though. Wasn't there some times where we did one shot or two shot killed each other? Like the time starter guns did 30 damage for 1/2 an hour.

Overpriced, but that's the price of having things first or the rarity of it.

I thought there was no economy in iEra as there was no trade system(sadflkjsg). Unless you're talking about droppable melee's .

Droppable stuff such as shells are somewhat a start of an economy because they can be transformed into gralats.
Not quite sure what your point is about the economy, because with auctions, the more people who get the item, the cheaper the price gets because there will be less competition and less bidding wars, then that item wont be rare any longer and it'll just be common.
