In-Game Rating System

I tweaked it some Angel.

So I've seen a lot of threads about people getting scammed and so maybe there could be a system where people could comment on people saying stuff like: "he's a nice guy" or "this guy scammed me, watch out". Or instead of commenting...

And to limit "negative" abuse of this possible system, maybe there could some sort of detection of a "revenge comment" or "revenge rating".

This might help aware other players not to trade with certain people if there comments are filled with "scammer, watch out".

This could be abused, you could have your friends rate you 10/10 but you still scam. And how are staff supposed to monitor revenge comments?

Or people could stop being little morons and just not trade.

Well let's say someone had a Scaryface from Halloween but missed the Easter eggs from Easter and wanted to trade and vice-versa. They could trade. If one scammed, just comment on them and that'll warn others not to trade with them... ez.
I tweaked her idea enough; so I can fully take credit for it tyvm.

I believe the staff could check the pc numbers and check the chat logs between the two players and see if both drop the items, and the other one either takes it and leaves or they both have a actual trade. Based on the drops, chat log, and pc number they should be able to record who scammed.

Trading is for people who are asking to be depressed.

Just rate, don't use comments. Even if its low! Just rate xD

i thought that this was gonna be a system to rate weapons, so you can tell which ones are the most popular currently. No more dissapointed people crying for refunds!

So...I could...find a random guy on the street and give him a 1 star rating without talking to him? And anyways, people hate me, so it'll make me look really bad :(

It's just a suggestion. Haha failure, maybe you have to ingage with someone by killing them, talking to them for 5-10 mins, etc... before rating? Or 3 months on friends list at least...

That works too. Have an option for Anymous too.
