NBA: 2012-2013 Season

It's here!
What are your thoughts, etc on the upcoming season? I'll post some of my own later...

Harden left OKC :'(

Bobcats 2012! We bringing home the championship.

Sammich 10-30-2012 07:33 AM

Lakers all the way! ;D

Lakers: 0-8 in their preseason games

Despite their big names, Howard and Nash being the latest. They couldn't jag even one game. But despite that, all the signs point to a positive looking season. Lakers will have an interesting season nonetheless in my opinion.

I KNOW! Well, he was only interested in the money from the start. We still got Durant, Westbrook, Ibaka. Miami better bring there A game this year. :D

James Harden was traded, he didn't leave as a free agent so it wasn't about money. He can't control a trade and really had no say in the matter.

He could've signed an extension prior to the trade though.

His contract wasn't about to expire and the thunder would have had to offer him an extension; so once again, no in his control.

I don't have a specific team I like, I follow players. My fantasy team especially.

I follow the NBA pretty heavily and I've been a Mavericks fan ever since Dirk Nowitzki entered the league.

The NBA season this year should be a fun one to watch. I see the Heat coming out on top of the East again with the Celtics right there with them.

However out of the West it will be a different story. The Lakers will click once they get their chemistry down, and the Thunder will be no different without Harden. People seem to forget how good of SG Kevin Martin is and what he brings to this Thunder team. He's a top 10 SG and always finds ways to score. Thunder will be just fine. Not to mention they also will have a PG in Jeremy Lamb (with great potential) along with 2 first round draft picks.

For the West:
Thunder suffered a big loss. I don't expect the Lakers to play their best until next season. Go Spurs!

For the East:
Miami Heat, no question. Probably gonna repeat.
