I have started working on creating a Space themed server.
Proof of concept video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jViR...g&feature=plcp As you can see, it is currently in very early stages of development and using placeholder art. The short video demonstrates the movement system and capital ship system. Planned Features: -Full loot -Multi-person capital ships: *Can be boarded *Components can be destroyed and the crew need to repair -'Dynamic' economy to allow for trading runs -Factions fighting for control of stations/planets and receive benefits from ownership -Space & planet based mining -Variety of missions('quests') ranging from infantry, to fighter/bomber and even some faction quests that require a capital ship. -Bomb planets from space with capital ships to weaken defenses This is not a recruitment thread as I do not plan on hiring people for a long while. I just want to be able to focus on actually developing the core functionality without having to deal with managing people. However, I would love to hear people's ideas for what other features I should consider. |
Your video won't load for me :(. It sounds neat though!

I think I fixed it. Apparently I don't know how to use the youtube code on this forum
|
It works!
That looks neat! I can't wait to see how this develops. :) |
Sounds cool. Will be nice to see it with finalized graphics :D

My idea would be having a system like graal classic with the folders but instead inventory/cargo(name wise) with diffrent tabs depending on the type of item...AND have the ability to trade certain inventory/cargo/in game money with other players...LASTLY, instead of houses/guild houses have personal ship and capital ship(of which all members of the guild can enter from the guild page if there is guilds)

Yeah...that's because I think way ahead of everything with counting the past stuff and present to make the future thought gears turn... :D he did say "However, I would love to hear people's ideas for what other features I should consider."
