Awesome hats. I don't think the purple hat is rare, but I never saw that white dragon hat before.

Matt used to give the first hat for having 20,000 spar wins or something, but then he began giving it away for free. Now tons of people. I don't think any hats are rare, though. Second hat is a cool little mask!

I have a hat I got from a present at Christmas, and haven't seen anyone else wearing it. Seems rare to me.

I have a similar hat. Christmas rewarded people with one-of-a-kind hats, which was cool. I guess you can use the word "rare" for that, but I don't like using the word to describe hats on Graal at all to be honest. I mean, calling it rare somewhat points towards the idea that they are collectables.. So many people think of hats this way, that everyone pays the same money for the same hats. I just dislike the word. x.X

I guess my astronaut helmet counts as rare, since there are only two other people that I'm aware of who have it. It was an event prize though. Hats can't really be considered rare as they don't really have the qualifications to be called that, as they are simply items that can be bought or won in an event. There has to be different methods to getting them to be able to call any hat rare.

Guild hats? Only like 40 people get them and no more. Ever

So many guild hats, I can't even call any of them unique over the other. Same applies to GST prize hats, sadly. It's fun to have cool little hats to wear, though.

I have a bra hat, and this rose in a jar. Sure I have more but I'd have to check.

I'd have to say that my "rarest" hat is probably a hat that displays a pie splat on the player's head (Furryamigo made it). I've only seen one other player with it since I got it a little over a year ago.

Although I also dislike calling hats rare because they have no real value, since there is no trading system.

Why would rarity have anything to do with whether or not you can trade an item? If one player on the entire server has a poo-poo-platter hat, then it is a rare hat. Even more so because it can not be traded, therefor no one else can obtain it.

Sorry, let me clarify. I mean to say that rare hats have no value since they cannot be traded amongst the community. You can't put a price tag on it. All you can do is say "I haven't seen someone where this hat before, therefore it's rare." The issue with this is that the amount of hats is quite large compared to how small the community is, so just about everyone has their own special "rare" hat in their inventory.

(Sorry that these two ideas seem a bit disconnected; my head is spinning a little right now and it'd be much easier to explain if everyone here played TF2.)

Does any of you have a fruit hat? I think it is still rare. I got it from last christmas and never saw anyone wearing it. :P
