Now we all know C4C they reached 1k,got their hat,changed leaders,kicked everyone from their guild and are now starting a new hat chasing guild called Wrath! Not the hat chasing but kicking all your loyal members is total bull****. /rant

o:? Half of call4combat+other friends pig and I have made are going for futur3 10k soon. Why should this concern you? Even if they are hat chasers as long as they put in the work and effort why not let them get the hat.

Honestly, the hat chasing is kind of stupid. If they weren't hat chasing and took towers for fun, they would've just kept going with the same guild. But I guess it's much more invigorating and meaningful to spend 42 days of your life to get a worthless virtual hat.

Who cares? Let them waste their lives away.

Its sort of the same mentality that people have with achievements (like with xbox live) in other video games, say grinding something like hell until you get a little virtual trophy. Was it fun to get it? No. Was it frustrating and a big waste of your life? Yes. But you got it! So that somehow means something for some reason. I guess its just an ego thing.

Quit Classic, PC is where it's at.

I think 1k hats should just be removed. Let's see who keeps going after we remove them for some time.

There was originally talk (a long time ago before hat chasing guilds truly existed/were big today) about stopping the release of hats after 20 guilds gotten the hat. I would've personally would've loved to see that happen, and if there was a vouch for that I would support it. Because I feel that the first guilds to get hats were just in it for the fun. I can't speak for all guilds, but I can speak for my own since for Helsing we went for 1k as like a guild family effort. It was fun, we enjoyed ourselves and whatnot. From other guilds I've heard from it was for similar reasons. Nowadays if you ask a guild holding a fort why they're doing it just for the hat. Which seems silly because now its just a rinse and repeat process. It doesn't even seem like them themselves are having much fun as we did or as other guilds to reach 1k in the past has. Now it's just Start Guild -> Recruit Members -> Take Towers > Reach 1K -> Get hat -> Repeat. And this makes it harder for people who want to actually take towers just to take towers because all their friends are out looking for guilds nearing 1k to mooch off of. So it not only affects the hat chasing guilds, but other guilds as well. I was really hoping that they would've started giving out the generic 1k item instead of the hat now because it's at a point where it's just ridiculous.

Before PULSE got 1k was when towering was actually fun. Cause back then there were no noob hathunting guilds. I swear a week after PULSE got 1k and their hat there was 10 new guilds saying they were going for 1k and a hat.

you know what's more make me mad than that? We reached 1k a week before C4C and they got their 1k hat first, but we are still waiting. I mean I can understand as long as it does not take over 6months or something.. ._.
And pig party is very kind person. He gave 1k hats to people who worked very hard and probably kicked them after they received 1k hat.

The devaluation of guilds into a form of 'custom hat uploading' is sad.

This has gone too far. Time to say goodbye to the custom guild hat rewards.

The staff have already tried to stop the hats before and that didn't stay for very long. I can't see it happening again unless there is a suitable replacement.
