Utilize World Chat.
 

World Chat has no good usage. Its worthless the way it's been placed and established. It doesn't belong in the menu screen and should be someplace people can actually use it. AND, there should be some reason to use it.

Now, I think it should be absolutely free, since people don't use it and it's not a broadcast message. Maybe Staff can start utilizing it for player relations services.

The whole point was to reach every player with important messages. This purpose has failed.

A new broadcast message type should be made. World BC Messages. This way, players can spam for a price and you can turn it off in the user profile menu. Don't let WC lie in it's grave.

Like Maplestory where a message appears in the top right corner of the screen would be my preference, except make the worldmessage cost more so people won't spam. The worldchat shouldn't be for conversations, but rather advertising gangs, shops, etc.

The problem with world chat is that you can't move when using it. And the screens to small for it to be like on pc, where it's in a corner or a separate window. I believe they should make an advertisement broadcast button instead. It could be turned on and off for people who do not want to receive ads. The ads would be free, yet they would have a 30 minute cool down timer. This prevents people from spamming ads. With this kind of system, people looking for things could find others who will suit their needs. This would reduce the amount of people at start, creating a less laggier start. The ads could include separate sections and appear next to pms, with different colors indicating different kinds of ads, including gang recruitments, trades, etc.

Of course, this idea is overly optimistic, and if it is ever added, it probably won't work out this well.

Actually I'm not exactly sure, but I think they have it separate or have a feed in the corner.

Lol, well this idea isn't being used. I don't think there should be any unused content, otherwise what's the point?

I agree. If something isnt being utilized by players, then it shiuld be deleted to save both memory and map space for projects later on.

Lol actually that's for trials,If you're gold/classic membership,you can world chat as much as you want,and it's not spam it'll add to your previous message(s).

I feel like world chat is only used when an admin announces he/she is using it. Just delete the entire program.
