I read the news today and just pondered if there would be an ios 4.3 or higher requirement. Im saying this because my ipod 2g cant get upgraded further thatn 4.2.1.... Plz answer

Beats me, I have the model with the crappy plastic power button that broke a year and a half ago and doesn't work anymore. Same with the volume, so it's stuck at max volume because my screen is cracked too.

I have the 4th gen :P. I used to have second but I had the ****ty MC model.

I have an Ipod 3G and I can't upgrade to 4.3 lol.

to know wat model u have go to settings>general>about i think. and theres a part that says MC###### or any other letters...

You guys aren't missing much with the firmware updates, just sayin.

Eh I bet the update won't even help that much. It'll be like the less lag button; a placebo effect.
But who knows, maybe it'll kick ass and be nice.

Zoom feature only works with high res screen devices starting with iPod 4g.
iPod 2nd and 3rd gen have lower screen resolution,that's why it isn't supported on those devices.
