Classic Upload Issues..

I feel something should be said about classics' current uploaders..
Apparently many of them haven't heard of indexing??!?!?!?!
I feel this is a ridiculous issue because i know quite well how to make a properly indexed body and I am constantly rejected due to "visible background".
Dont mean to dis anyone just a helpful tip if any uploaders or more high powered staff come across this. :D

Feel free to post other issues you have here, maybe I can help :)

Did you click the "Set transparency" box on the upload page before clicking the upload button?

You can only index bodies if they aren't in GIF mode. Otherwise, there shouldn't be any other problems unless if you used the full white/black colors.

@tyler- you dont click that box when indexing the bg color ;b
@lia- my current body is gif & indexed. if you see my avatar its not trans but in-game it is trans. I believe uploaders just arent experienced to my style of indexing.
@both- thanks for trying to help :D

When I upload my indexed bodies I always click that box. It has to be set on bodies with a background color. Even indexed bodies.

on a similar not with uploading graphics...
Ive been trying to upload an image with transparency as my guild pic. On a pc, it wont let me upload a png image, only jpeg. When I uploaded the image from my iPod camera roll, the transparency was stripped and replaced with black...

Whenever i upload indexed bodys (of which there is alot) I never tick the transparency box as it sets it to a solid non colour changing image when I do.

You can only load transparent gpics with a pc :)

i uploaded an indexed body by Mizuo (got permission a while back) i had uploaded it to iEra. Approved and had zero issues.

Uploaded it to iClassic said it had transparency issues. :|

I think this is due to staff often being missinformed, on how to upload. There often trained to spot copyright rather than uploading guidelines,

But i can see there confusion, when i normaly upload an indexed body, i cant see the outline on the approve/decline screen,

However when in game, there is clearly an outline, just not on the approve/decline card. For whatever reason.

They should also only be updated if they have a bit depth of 8, but nobody really pays attention to this.. Indexing usually takes care of it for us. I haven't uploaded any new graphics for over a year, so I don't have much to say about current staff in charge..
