pvp gang chat?
 

it would be nice if you could talk to your other team mates whilst in pvp, sort of like a gang chat but only while your in the pvp

And die in like three seconds for standing still in that small arena? No thanks.

I agree with hotdog, would be nice to have this as a feature to help coordinate taking bases.

i ment the "pvp events" not the pvp spar arena, sorry

It would help to allow communication to your team. After all, you can't really take a base that easily in a 1 vs 5 battle.

I wanted this the moment i stepped foot on the battle field. They had this for capture the flag on classic and I think it would help teamwork and coordination on zone's battlefields.

But the problem with this is the same as tag team spar on era. People spam.
I like it just plain squad chat, screw other people on the team.

I dunno, I like talking to my squad while playing PVP events, not dealing with a bunch of spam.

I agree id really like to have this feature because taking bases solo in pvp events are tedious when 3-4 people from the other team come and you have no way of alerting team mates.

Looking into a way to implement this without more crowding up of the screen :)

I was thinking about this today.
I think a second chat and a second place for messages would work well, so on one side you have your squads measages and the other you hae the people from pvp
Then have two buttons for talking in each chat
But i do see how that would cover a bit of the screen.

how about: when you tap the squad chat, a pop-up comes out saying squad message or pvp message :). saves space but may take time to message. also it would only be available when the player is in the arena (pvp planet).

Maybe do some sort of "hot key" function with the gang chat bubble. When you slide your thumb right or down, a small box appears and you can select between gang chat and team chat. You can also disable receiving messages from team mates through options if pm spamming is an issue.
