Wired network connection unavailable- help !
 

So a couple of weeks ago I logged onto my pc but my wired network connection failed. It showed a yellow triangle with exclamation mark over the tray icon. Now Julius send me the link to this forum and this is exactly my problem, and on this forum it shows all the steps to fix it, but I don't have alot of knowledge of computers so I wouldn't know how to do this- can anyone please help me? If its an Ethernet connection, then your Ethernet port may be broken. Consider finding a Wireless card and / or a wireless router. Either that, or your modem might be broken. Have you tried visiting http://192.168.1.1 to see if you can connect to your modem? If you can, then it's a problem with your modem.

I'm not completely sure though. You should call bestbuy or a better person at this.
