What should I buy on Steam?
 

So I got this awesome laptop for Christmas; an HP Envy with a terrabite of memory. Steam was the first thing I downloaded LOL, I'm so excited because now I can actually do some PC gaming. The only thing is I can't go extravagant with the graphics because that's the one downside to this computer (so no Skyrim, Black Ops, or extremely nice graphics).

I have up to $50 to blow, and kinda lost on what to pick.
- I like MMO's, creative/building games like Minecraft, and adventure puzzle games like Portal 2 and Little Big Planet (if that counts as a puzzle game idk).
- I really enjoy the fantasy/adventure genre.
- I'm alright with FPS, but definitely no horror/suspense games.

Suggestions?

Garry's Mod. It takes almost no processing power to run optimally, and the graphics don't require much more than integrated graphics anyway. The whole game is a huge sandbox, there is literally no end to the things you can do/make.

Final Fantasy 11 is available on steam. There is also Terraria.

Civilization IV on steam get it or tropico 4.

If you're into adventure games like Minecraft I would definitely check out Terraria.

I was gonna say Amnesia but you don't like horror games. The Counter Strike games, Team Fortress 2, Half Life 2.

Like puzzles and adventure games?
Have you ever heard of 'LIMBO' its a adverture puzzle game with some of the most eyecatching graphics and gameplay around, i highly recommend.
