Is it worth jailbreaking my iOS device?

Will it damage my device in any ways? Will it be for the best? I'm considering jailbreaking my iPod Touch 4th Generation. (It's possible!)

It will not damage your device (I have a 4th gen jailbroken and it works fine). It is way better than being limited by Apple. Possible on iOS 6? Looks like the Evad3rs are almost done with the jailbreak. It's getting ready for public release.

When I got my iPhone my dad said Verizon said that if I jailbroke it they would turn off my service... Is my dad punkin' me or is Verizon serious? I already jailbroke my iPod 4th so I'm not a total JB newbie.

@Lemon: YES. it is COMPLETELY worth it. Just check out some YouTube videos about it.

I don't have the latest iOS 6.1 update! I'm afraid it'll decrease my chances even more.

What iOS are you on?

I think he may be serious. Apple does it too: http://www.news.com.au/technology/ap...-1225909901032 @Ignatius

Well my cousin jailbroke his iPhone 3G a while back.... I'm confused. maybe I'll just call Verizon lol

Don't ASK Verizon permission to jailbreak your phone, that's just silly.
