Why do the melees still suck?
Apparently this melee "nerf" was fixed, but now it has been brought back :/. Can i ask for what reason were they nerfed in the first place? They are never OP since all a player has to do is move and it makes it 2s as hard, now even if the players standing still its hard because of the time it takes to melee someone, another player just shoots you in half the time.
If they were nerfed in an attempt to make era more of a gun forcused game i suggest you change it back, melees will always be part of era, and nerfing them just seems pointless, as i have already stated, it required skill in the first place to use them. (besides most people just use them for looks) So change it back plz, kthnx |
I've stopped wondering what goes on with Era for a little while now, thats why i don't play much anymore. If they could put together a game that has consistent things about it (Sorry. Lack of better term there), i'll play it! Until then.. Cya!

It's better that way. Lots of melees have knockback and if you get hit with that once then you can get trapped. This makes it better as people use skill more.

They probably wanted it to stay gun-oriented. I've seen a lot of people preferring melees over guns before.

Even with people preferring melees to guns, you don't get that advantage over someone unless you're skilled enough and have enough DPS with said melee. To be honest, people will always pick some melees over guns because the server has a ridiculous amount of reskinned melees with similar stats.

I think it might be a glitch or something. I heard it was "fixed", so I assumed it was a glitch. why would they change something, to change it back, to change it again?
