So, if you hadn't suggested worms, and we needed bait for fish... what would they have used?

Maybe we could use worms for fishing bait and the bait we could use to catch fish, which there could be all kinds of that are only at certain areas, like you could catch Cave Fish in cave water? An example would be:

Green fish 1 gralat 80% to catch
Blue fish 5 gralats 50% to catch
Red fish 20 gralats 40%
Yellow fish 40 gralats 30%
Black fish 100 gralats 15%
Rainbow fish 1000 gralats 1%

Which you could sell at the fishing man near the ship to Balamb (if I spelled that right) Island. Because worms are actually pretty time consuming to catch 10, that that would make it fair, but then again you could raise the price on how much each fish sells for.

:) maybe.. Probably won't have 1000 fish though..

You could buy a bigger tank to store fish in till you sell them or even keep them as pets. It could hold 20 or so.

Depending on the worm to fish ratio(how many worms it takes) that should determine the selling price, not 1 gralat. A fish isnt the price of a worm.
