New laptop. Also, Windows 8 sucks.

So recently, I got a new laptop. And little did I know, that one little quote, "Windows 8 sucks" would hold very true. **** THAT OS.
Why? I can't install anything on it. Want Skype? Oops, got to have a Microsoft account! Want the Windows 7 desktop? Oops, gotta have the native Windows 8 desktop keep on barging in when trying to scroll down! And worst of all, IT WON'T READ MY PRINTER.
This thing is supposed to be a present for my mom, and she uses the printer quite a lot. And guess what? Drivers only for Windows 7. And the Windows 8 ones do jack ****. And then when I explain to my dad that I can't find the drivers for it, he starts going ape**** and starts ranting about how "My friend's son's sister's dog can do it, why can't you????!?!?!?!!??!!?!?" And then he starts yelling about how "If you can't do it, then no more buying new computers!" And ranting about how it's all my fault and I can't search it up. ****. Windows. 8. Also, the keyboard sucks.

I've always hated Windows 8. Is there any way to revert it back to 7 with a package? I really feel for your situation.

And great, now my dad's avoiding how it doesn't work by using "ask the Internet!" And "I can't read English, so I can't help!"

That's why I just bought my new laptop with Windows 7 on it.
HP Envy 4 if you're curious.
I would return that laptop if I were you.

There is no possible way unless the computer had a previous Windows before, many have tried.

My dad doesn't want to, as he bought it cheap with a 650+ gb hard drive, 8 gb of ram, and a i7 core processor. Sigh.

Iīve got a windows 8 laptop too. for some reason i canīt use the mail app. When i click "Add new account", it says it's already in use, but it isn't using any email. It's just a white screen.

Wow. I'm going to keep my laptop forever now.

You can still customize your laptops on most of the company's sites like Hp, Sony, Dell and choose Windows 7 instead of Windows 8.

It'll be hard finding Windows 7 in stores any more though and they're dwindling down from online shops as well.

I downgraded to windows 7. Just google how to downgrade to windows 7.

You should tell your dad to stop yelling at you just because you don't know how to do something. If he can't do it, he has no right to yell at you. Thats just immature.
