GS needs fixing
 

So me and a few friends were guild sparring, and we usually are pretty good. Unfortunately, we had quite a bit of trouble since we kept getting put in matches that would be 5 on 3. And it is slightly impossible to win if you are getting double teamed by sword spammy nubs. My only suggestion is generate fair teams so instead of letting it be 5 on 3 it will instead be a 3 on 3 match. Because with the current system it really makes it obnoxious to guild spar.

It's Guild Spar....it's supposed to be 5 vs 5. If they generate teams, it's going to take forever for some teams to get in a match. Plus, no one is forcing you to join 3 vs 5. You press the sword button yourself. Your team could've recruited players standing around for help, or leave spar room if you feel like it's unfair.

When I said generate teams I meant not allow more than the team with the least people to join, and the choices of recruit random kids that probably suck, get gang raped, or just don't play are pretty lame.

what ever happened to the improvement section?

No one but the people who can actually fix this read that section so I posted it here.

not true rufus is the only one that seems to care about improving the classic community and i would bet he reads all sections that have to do with classic. i dont think your idea is bad but why would you continue to spar 3vs5? say they would change it to what you said then the guild with 5 members risk of having their 2 best players left out. you have the option to spar with 5 and they wouldnt have the option to pick their 3 sparers.

We didn't, we went and had a tea party at our leaders house to get over our frustration, like civilized gentlemen would. And as for what you said I think guild spar is a group effort and shouldn't rely on one or two people. Get to know your team and you won't need to worry so much about who is and isn't sparring.

ive been wanting an improved GS quque system forever. Not only are 2v5 matches unfair, but you also spar the same team EVERY time the quque cycles through.

-There needs to be something that pairs guilds together by size so it is 2v2, 3v3 4v4 5v5 (if possible. if no two teams have same number, then make it fair as possible 2v3)

-Mix up the quque to where you spar a different guild each time, but make sure no one guild sits out too long.

-or maybe make "2v2" room ... "5v5" room and have TOURNAMENT guild spar. winner advances to next round; like 1v1 tournament spar rooms. (ya there would need to be 4 rooms: 2v2 3v3 4v4 5v5)

You shouldn't be able to queue into an uneven match, in terms of number of players, simple as that. It makes no sense that if two teams, one of 3 and one of 5 queue, that it queues as a 5 vs. 5 and not a 3 vs. 3. GS is lame anyway, needs to be tag team spars.

As everyone else said, it'd be better if it chopped off two members from the larger team.

It's only annoying if there are 60 players, and some random guys keep joining and doing a 2v5, like reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaly.
