Egg images aren't loading on FB client
I can't even see them in my inventory:
http://puu.sh/2mIhT People walk past me and find eggs that I don't see, I don't see eggs being held when people do the gani, etc. Rezon and a few others confirmed they had this same problem, let me know here if it gets fixed because I wanted to be the very best egg finder that no one ever was. |
The Facebook client is so ****. The image cache that it uses seems to be taking an extremely long time to load. I think it's something that Stefan will have to fix.

Edit: Disregard last reply actually, what I'd recommend doing is just refreshing the FB client a few times until you can load the inventory egg images. Once you can see those, idle or run around and get as much stuff cached as possible and eventually your egg images will begin to show. I just saw one so I guess it works, just tricky. |
It's possible quite a few people are logging in and downloading a whole swath of new images (i.e. tileset) which are making image downloads erratic for the FB/Flash clients.
To help alleviate the issue, I've updated the script to show the '???' level npc egg graphic if the intended egg graphic isn't loaded yet so that should help. |
Stefan said 'i've restarted the httpserver socket thing, may be works better now' so try that.

The only workaround currently is just reloading your client and opening the Eggs Collection folder until you have all the images downloaded. I've updated the Eggs script so it will display them all unless you have it downloaded already. |

I don't understand what it achieves other than wasting their bandwidth. Is it because people were editing filenames and reconnecting to glitch or what? Was pretty convenient because I could locally edit game_config.txt to disable light effects, change the font and size, etc. Quote:
