Digging Spoils
Digging Spoils; Trinkets
As some of us know, the Easter event turned out to be a big hit. Not so much the digging, and heinous searching for eggs, but rather the trade system that was configured to compliment the entire hunt. Trinkets Trinkets are little trophies that you can show off to other players or friends. Assuming that the Easter eggs will be removed after Easter is over, there should be a suitable replacement that continues to offer an interesting way to cooperate and trade with other players. Every trinket should be unique in some way. There should also be a player made trinket submission kiosk, considering that there are many good artists out there who are not staff. Mechanics Now, the mechanics are quite similar to that of the 2013 Easter egg hunt. They are as followed; - Players may dig to obtain trinkets - Players may trade other players for trinkets - Trinkets can be stored in houses - Trinkets may be sold to an NPC that buys them (prices vary) - Random trinkets may be dropped by pk'ing other players Conclusion If you guys have anything to say, please don't hesitate to post below. I'm contemplating whether trinkets should have a rarity rating, scaling from 1-10. Tell me your thoughts. :) |
It would be nice to dig for stuff other than worms, and chests during an events.
7/10 |
Sounds cool. It may make classic evenly spread out, so there wouldn't be as much lag in area outside burger restaurant, although they may be treated like bugs.
There should be a 1 player only trinket - There's only one on the map! This should be found. |
So basically bug catching but with different graphics and trading?
