Just got a new game
 

so i got a new game recently and i have to use a xbox controller plugged into my laptop to play it but i have no clue what buttons to push cuz the buttons are numbered 1-12 in the game and my controller is a regular xbox controller

does someone know the button order? the game im playing is eragon

You should download Xpadder.
It allows you to configure the controls however you want.
