Guild related question for staff..
 

First I did send an email a good while ago and didn't receive a reply, Im posting here as a last resort.

Me and some original members want to get 1k hours for Project Soul on FB server for 1k hat all in remembrance of (original leader) Drooz who is getting deployed in the Marines..

The current leader of Project Soul refuses to pass over leadership.
Ergo we have made a Project SouI with an i instead of an L.
(lame I know)

Would we still be granted a 1k hat knowing that the our guild is not the real guild, even though we have the real members?

Just asking, I'm not sure if admins care about something like that or not.
Any feedback is appreciated, we are wanting to get started soon.

I'm pretty sure they'd give you the hat despite the guild name.

Well I think they are supposed to make the hat a long as the guild reaches 1k. I know what you're trying to say and it is kind of hard to explain, but I don't think they wouldn't make a hat just because the guild isn't the exact name Project Soul.

If the original guild has a problem with your guild's name being pretty much the exact same thing, you risk the possibility of your guild being renamed/removed for impersonating the other guild.

That's only if the real guild says something about it.

I don't actually know how they deal with it on Classic iPhone, I'm just saying how I would deal with it (on Zodiac).

I stand corrected. Since the leadership is under someone else and not Droozy and if they complain, that could end badly. You might just have to make a entirely different name unless you make an agreement with the current owner of Project Soul.

Are you saying someone not in the real project soul went on facebook and made a project soul guild on the facebook before the Legitmembers could? In that case you could probably have that guild deleted or renamed for you since they copied your guild and stole it's name.

No, if a guild name is taken it is taken for both servers.
In our case the real guild is being held by someone who wont give it back to us ,the real members, who want to use it again.

Ask a staff member to rename his guild so you can have it. If his guild is dead he is just name squatting

i agree with the demon on diss one:o if they just name squattting and being a a hole then a staff member should rename the dam guild:O

As one of the original members, the current leader refuses to hand over leadership to one of us quote 'you don't deserve it' when this person was never in the guild. Basically if we continue and take forts on FB server with the same name couldn't it still be possible to over rule her complain? She basically stole the guild form the many leadership transfers. Besides Drooz tried to get the guild back but admins refused because apparently he had no prood he was the real one..

1. The leader has full control over the guild and can chose to give the guild to a new person or keep it.

2. A guild can be named whatever I have seen many people use the letter L to replace the letter I in a guild name cause another person has had it. nothing has happened to it.(not very certain if any guild has been renamed or deleted) But it can confuse the people trying to ally the guild or probably doing showguild on it.

3. A guild that gets to 1k fort hours is eligible to get a hat.

Yeah, the fake won't be deleted but occasionally the real one will be ~_~
