Fastest way to make money
 

I recently started up on iEra again and I wanted to know what the fastest ways of making money was. Might be helpful for all of the noobs like me :D

Start with trash picking/mushrooms then work your way to buy 20+ shovels, then when you can buy a cheap car for car missions.

Car missions make nice payment. Roughly $55 per delivered passenger. You need to watch out for other cars and pkers though. Make sure your HP is quite high before starting missions.

The other method is trash/mushroom picking. This one is popular, but doesn't seem to pay THAT much money. It's a very easy job though. You will need to purchase a mushroom knife from the southridge mushroom shop before you can mushroom pick.

I already have a car and multiple shovels. I guess I'll try the car missions, so thanks! Thought I'd try mining but maybe that's slow

So does mining not give enough money?

Combine the jobs together. I don't understand why people dig, you lose more profit than you expect by buying shovels.

Simply walk around the gmap with mushroom knife, trash picker and a gun equipped, go to a deserted location such as the top left of the gmap and enjoy.

Mining doesn't make much money...

Hunt trash, shrooms and do mail deliveries all at the same time.

Mining would be quite profitable but they changed the formulas so you have to mine 20000 rocks before you're at level 10 from which you'll reduce mining time by 1 second. It's quite a nice source of revenue on pc era, it's a shame snk (or perhaps stefan) made it so profits were significantly reduced.

Yeah, building off what tricxta said, mining is the best job in the long run, but only if you're devoted to it. I'm pretty sure there's a mining guide somewhere around here; it has how quickly a rock is mined at a certain level.

Apparently at level 99 or 100, it takes "0.1" seconds to build the rock pile by 1. The mining thread guide is buried somewhere in this forum.

Mining is tedious, but there's no enemies that pop up, so that's good. My friend has made like 10k from mining.

Quickest way is to get a job in real life and buy Gralat packs :)
Even a minimum wage job, if you worked 8 hours you could buy about 5 gralat pack 3s.
How much can you make in 8 hours digging shells or mining? =p
