The Essential things to Buy
 

So here is what I think you have to buy:

-Lantern (2000)
-A mount (2500+)
-Railroad car (4000)
-A house (50)

Other things you should buy once you have those:

-Hat (about 200+)
-Body (Probably 1000+, but it all depends)
-VIP subscription (7500 each month)


Is there anything else I am missing?

I would consider the Rat a necessity. there are rooms only rats can enter.
Also correction* you dont really have to pay 100gralats/month to keep youre house. It costs 50 gralats only to change the house-type. IDK why that hasnt been fixed these past 3yrs...
My advice for buying hats: only buy stuff you'll wear more than once;)
and I do not believe one "should" buy VIP. its a rip off imo.

The rat is not something that can be bought. If I remember correctly, you have to navigate the woods north of Onnet in order to find the witch, who will give it to you.

And for the house, it does actually say somewhere that you have to pay 100 each month to enter your house.

and correct, but that isnt true, the game doesnt REALLY charge you monthly house fees. Its probably something from original server.

Pretty sure it doesn't actually cost 100 each month anymore, regardless of what it may say.

People who play classic are way smarter than era players.

Why VIP? Who needs extra colors..

VIP also gets you an exclusive item each month and access to Oasis, an island. Many people have it. I put it in there to cover all by bases. Really, many people see it as a rip off (I am one of those people), but then again, everyone who is a VIP can now ride a slug.
