Keyboard on/off toggle & Key Customization
 

Hello, I'm not sure if this has been suggested before, or if it's already in the making; however, I wanted to express my need for keyboard access.

It would be nice to be able to change the hotkeys I use to be able to move, loot items, use my gun slot, and my melee slot with the key of my liking. This would be useful in the options for facebook as well, as in changing the default keys to other keys of your liking. This would help users access more convenient keys for easier game play.

However, that is not what I want to center this post around, I mainly would love to have a system where I can toggle keyboard use on with my iDevice. I bought a new bluetooth keyboard that is capable of being paired with ipods, iphones, ipads, and any other bluetooth enabled device. The iPad systems default movement options are only good for me for sparring or street fighting. I need a keyboards functionality to be able to dig shells without gaining carpal tunnel.

It would be neat to have the option to fully control your character on an iPad with your bluetooth device, rather than logging on to laggy facebook to do simple task like digging without gaining carpal tunnel.

Facebook already has the s, d, a, and arrow key commands for movement as well as 1 for strafe. Giving iDevice users the option to toggle keyboard on or off with their bluetooth iDevice would be much appreciated, since most iPad users already own a bluetooth keyboard anyways.

Good ideas, playing with iPad being able to move around/resize the buttons would be a great feature.

I would love being able to sync up an Xbox controller for graal :love:

You can play Era with a PlayStation 3 controller IF you have a jailbreak tweak called blutrol. Works like a charm. I'll make a video on how to get it lolz. Credit goes to Mu12D312 for showing me.

We already have that (just not for Bluetooth keyboards).
Try to set up your iPad with VNC and use your keyboard there (you'd have to setup key macros tho)

What is VNC? and how do I get it if it allows me to use my bluetooth keyboard on iEra?
I don't mind setting up key macros, I'm already use to the ones for PC + Facebook.

Edit: Also, is that a 3rd party program or integrated into iEra? Because I've looked through all of my options and there is nothing of the sort.
