I know somebody started a thread about this recently but i felt that it needed brought back up. I tower a lot and i have noticed lately an insane amount of blocking at all the towers except snow because its not very easy to block there and most guilds don't attack there often. and of course castle or as the noobs call it soul of ninjas. S.O.N. just never really seems to care to block the door. I dont see why alot of players have such a dislike for soul.

i see group spam blocking at the door leading to the tower room at Sardons, and with the spikes moving around and the defending guild re-spawning near the flag it is very difficult to take control of the tower. I have heard Sardz got changed a little bit already because of issues with towering. However between the sliding spikes and pricks like FD spam blocking the door by the time a few ppl from your guild squeeze passed the door you have like 1 life container left and it wont take long for the defending guild to kill you and send you back to the re-spawn point just before the hallway.

At mod i have seen a lot of blocking of the stairs leading up to the stairs to the flag room keeping the defending guild from defending the flag. i have also seen ppl both from the defending guild and from attacking guilds glitch/lag block the entrance stairs to flag room as well.

Same kinda deal at swamp where ppl lag/glitch block door to flag room. I don't see it much at swamp as the other towers.

At DW i have only seen the defending guilds block the stairs on each side leading up to the door to the flag room. but not all the time and i don't think its a problem at this tower.

And finally YORK the noob tower. every once in awhile i see ppl from the defending guild blocking the cave exit to the flag area. which is annoying, but not the major problem at this tower. The problem is when a player and 9/10x its a pker and not a member of the defending guild some how wedges them selves in the cave entrance door at the front of the fort and just continually re-spawn in the same spot wedged in the door. I know you can go around either side and go through the other entrance to get to the flag area. However alot of times the defending guild will block with a bunch of ppl at the other opening at the back of the fort and IMO its much more difficult to take the tower when this happens and it takes much longer to walk around the side to attack the flag than it does going through the cave on a mount.

I realize there has to be a balance kept as you don't want it to be impossible to defend towers but you also don't want it to be nearly impossible to take a tower. And there are always jerks out there "trolling" and ruining the game for lots of players. so what do you do? nothing and just get massive reports ever day of players cheating to keep a tower or to gain a tower. then hand out bans or reset there character? or try and remodel several towers? I have said it before at the very least I think they need to tweak sardz and mod by adding an extra entrance or making the door or stairs larger to fit more players like the original thread suggested. The only other thing i can think of is start a petition on here to get the admins to change the towers or getting as many ppl as possible to email the admins at [email protected] about the issues with towering in hopes of them changing the towers.

You do realize that you have the power to avoid/control this. You forget this is a silly game and the only thing that is going to ruin it is you allowing yourself to get mad/frustrated over dumb stuff like blockers. When people start taking the game to serious the fun stops.

Note: a lot of your threads start by saying you know there’s already a thread about it but you feel it’s important enough to do a new one. It’s ok to just add to the thread that is already there. I think bumps are better than multiple threads on the same subject.

The thing is U can block snow ... In the tower entrance door and the 3 rd door within the tower , only problem is u can get banned for it. I don't get why it's not allowed to block them . If that's a problem then make te doors fatter



Also it's a good thing u can't block at snow, this way more skill can be shown instead of all the sword spamming

i agree it should be more about fighting to defend the tower or taking it instead of cheap blocking to keep ppl from getting to the flag

Nobody wants to hear your opinions on tower guilds. Thats your opinion dont start threads full of hating certain guilds and calling them pricks.
I also dislike how you called york the noob tower. It is the best tower in terms of strategy. I think most towers should be modeled after york. Of course this is my oinion. What exactly makes it nooby besides that it is easy for newer guilds to capture? It offers fast paced, fair action with lots of killing and multiple strike points for planned attacks

Also defending should always offer advantages over the attacks. Basically the term fort refers to a good defense bunker against an opposing force. Blocking is not a problem in graal anymore . If anything , swamp, snow, castle, and dw should just have wider doors

Towers died when they brought back hats get over it, until they revamp all towers this will always be a problem ad mins can't get every blocker. You'll just have to deal with it and switch towers.

@OG: get over it. door blocking has been the most basic tower defense since forever.

@Kendama: the only reason you like york, the noob fort, is because it was the fort voyage could take.

Umm no not really we choose to take it because it matched our theme and i loved to defend it. However voyage only had a good amount of hours at york. Heres a rough estimate
0-100 castle
100-300 snow
300-500 MoD
500-600 DW
700-950 york
950-1000 sards.
I could have had any fort durring the time we dominated york due to being the closest guild to 1k and loads or hat chasers and determination , but since we dominated york so well we eliminated all compettetion durring our stay and the only guild that woud attack was NAL and SoN, but we would just end up getting it back fast.

Keep in mind btw that list isnt exactly how is went, it just shows the tower we would get about 75% of the time , durring that time period.
