New Penalty Idea

Anyone had this problem? Someone pking the base, to run away? Even to the point of logging off right before death to not lose a streak in a base?

I prepose a simple penalty to stop this.

Running can't be fixed but if someone is near death say 20hp or below maybe less. Would lose their streak instantly and die upon logging off and logging back on. It would then require the player to atleast work a little harder for a base streak instead of logging off near death.

Note this would only count if the player did so in a base, but it could be something to think of outside of one.

This is a minor idea, if you don't like it, or can't give actual input look for another thread to troll.

It's just a streak it's not going to kill you... Besides what would happen if the 20% sign popped up..? Wouldn't that make your streak go away?

No it would only cause it to go away, if you purposely logged off to avoid dying.

Note this is an idea thread not a OMG HE GOT A STREAK WHINE THREAD. Had I wanted to whine I'd have put it in the general section as troll bait.

This idea still has many flaws to it.

Please tell me what the flaws are and I'll fix?

The idea is to prevent someone from forcefully closing the app to avoid losing a streak. The same code written to give players 5 secs to attack a player running in the building can be used to prevent someone with little to no hp from logging off, to keep their streak. I don't see a flaw in that currently, but do correct me if there is a flaw.

Its annoying as hell when people do this. Just as you think your going to get them LOL NOPE gone.

No the 20% battery just gets in the way and freezes game until you dismiss it.

Going into houses is also very cheap. Some streakers like to do this by entering their house when in critical condition. Especially when being chased. Just pointing that out. Unless streaking was meant to be kept easy.

Ghettoicedtea 05-16-2013 05:10 AM

Meh they made going into houses 100X harder now. You have to be perfectly still and cannot be hit by anything or heal. Houses is not a huge deal but logging off pisses me off.

A better solution is once you log off, you automaticly lose streaks

Except it's the way it is because people crash...

When logging off in a base they respawn outside the base.

what about the multitask feature though? that would be a way to cheat the system

Does it cause you to exit completely? I've only seen it pause someone. They can still be killed while paused thankfully.
